New credits are hitting our screens this month.
Neighbours bosses have revealed that the show is getting bigger and better over the coming months – with brand new opening titles and more studio sets.
The long-running Aussie soap will debut an all-new title sequence on Monday, May 21 – replacing the current style, which has been in use since January 2017.
Neighbours' current opening sees the cast posing against backgrounds of various Erinsborough locations, but the new titles will see the show return to a live-action opening sequence which has been specially filmed on set.
With Neighbours just starting out on an exciting new multi-year deal with Channel 5, there are other changes to watch out for too.
The show's team are currently hard at work building two brand new sets, which will expand the world of Erinsborough further.
Fans may have already noticed changes in the show's visuals this year, which have been brought in thanks to new filming and post-production technology on set.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Neighbours' executive producer Jason Herbison commented: "Neighbours is constantly evolving and this year began with us introducing brand new cameras, lighting and post production.
"The impact of this is now on screen and the new opening titles are the icing on the cake. I'm thrilled to return to a live action format that showcases Erinsborough as we all like to think of it – eternally fun, warm and sunny.
"We have also begun construction on a brand new upstairs studio which will contain two new, four-walled sets. In recent years we have doubled the number of playing areas both in studio and on the back lot.
"This – combined with our increased location shooting – means our storytelling is more versatile than ever before. Neighbours looks and feels fantastic, just as it should."
Neighbours is also now airing as an all-year-round soap as part of its deal with Channel 5.
While the show used to disappear for four weeks over Christmas, the annual breaks are finally a thing of the past – giving us more episodes to enjoy than ever before.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
