Hollyoaks Spoilers 30th December 2019 - 3rd January 2020

Hollyoaks is set to introduce Sid Sumner's criminal cousin as part of its explosive County Lines drug storyline.

The soap is gearing up to explore the dark issue of 'County Lines' drug dealing, which refers to gangs from big cities who target young people and vulnerable adults to sell their drugs in smaller towns around the country, with a New Year's hour-long flashforward special.

And, as well as launching its major new plotline, Hollyoaks will also be introducing Sid Sumner's (Billy Price) older cousin Jordan Price in the episode, which will air first on Friday, December 27 on E4 and then on Monday, December 30 on Channel 4.

Connor Calland has been cast as Jordan, who has been living a dark life of crime for the past few years and involving himself in the drugs trade, including targeting young people to sell drugs for him.

His character is described as confident, chaotic and unpredictable, and he'll quickly get involved with the Lomax family after Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) offers to foster Sid.

The new storyline will explore the true impact that county lines deals have on the families and children who are involved. In the flashforward episode, viewers will be given a glimpse into how the teens' lives have changed as a result of county lines a year later.

Discussing his new role, Connor said: "I'm really excited to come into the Hollyoaks village and work with the loveliest, and most talented, bunch of people; even more so, coming in with such a hard hitting and relevant storyline.

"Hopefully with this opportunity, we can help bring some light to the issue in real life."

Connor is set to make his debut appearance during the hour-long New Year's episode.

Hollyoaks' hour-long special flashforward episode will first air on E4 at 7pm on Friday, December 27. Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.

Hour-long episode

Nancy's 'Parents Who Party' group chat is in full swing as everyone gets ready for her New Year's Eve party in The Hutch, despite Marnie's disdain that they're serving Cava throughout the evening.

Mandy interrupts Cindy being bitchy about Nancy and orders her to give Nancy a break. Nancy overhears and, not wanting to live a lie, tells her that she slept with Darren.

At the same time, a flash-forward to New Year's Eve 2020 reveals police banging on the Osbornes' front door, Charlie's game controller lying on the stairs and Nancy shouting up to him, asking what he has done.

Meanwhile, back in the present day, Leela tells a chuffed Sid that she wants to foster him, if he behaves himself. Later, Brooke is holding her own party at the house. Juliet feels pressured when Sid suggests going somewhere more private. She questions whether becoming an official couple was a mistake.

Later, Sid meets his cousin Jordan for drugs, but is seen by Ollie and Imran. Luke arrives and convinces Sid to give up the drugs and make the next year a positive one. Sid reveals that he likes to play the guitar, so Luke encourages Sid to focus on his music instead of bad habits.

A flash-forward then sees Leela, dressed as if she has been to a wedding. She looks at the floor of The Dog car park and sees a guitar has been violently smashed to pieces.

Peri walks into the Lomax flat to find Juliet and Sid about to have sex.

Elsewhere, in Charlie's bedroom, Leah suggests playing Truth or Dare. She dares Ella to steal something from The Hutch but Charlie steps up to do it instead. Ella makes a promise to stay out of trouble in 2020.

Also today, Peri, Tom, Romeo and Yazz are at the Lomaxes before heading to a club. Realising that Yazz won't be able to hear anything in a club, Tom decides that he's going to The Hutch instead, so the others follow.

Tom arrives at The Hutch to celebrate his birthday. He cuts the cake with a distinctive knife, which a year into the future, is being put in an evidence bag.

Finally, Misbah insults Marnie at The Hutch and worries that she has made an enemy of her.

Tuesday 31 December 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Everyone is clearing up the emotional and physical mess from last night's events.

Cindy tells Luke to knock some sense into Darren. She, Mandy and Leela go to the party at The Loft. In The Dog, Darren and Nancy come face-to-face. Luke questions whether Darren wants to fix things with Mandy.

Meanwhile, fed up with lovebirds Brooke and Ollie, Juliet is keen to get out of the Osbornes' and asks Sid to get hold of some drugs. They go to the party at The Loft. Sid worries when he sees Leela there, not wanting to get into trouble. Juliet clashes with Mandy when she tries to steal her drink and decides to spike her with the drugs. Liam spots the teens heading into the toilets.

Elsewhere, Peri and Romeo push Tom and Yazz to get together. Tom asks Yazz on a date.


Thursday 02 January 2020 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Jack tells Breda about his plan for them to live in Portugal, but Goldie and Mercedes are dead against it.

Breda goes to see Tony for advice and he encourages her to go and live her new life. However, his hope that she'll set him free is dashed when he realises that she's planning to leave him there to die.

Meanwhile, John Paul returns.

Elsewhere, Nana knows that Mercedes is still hurting as she flirts with every man she can. She urges Mercedes to start looking after herself.

Also today, Brody and Liberty are confused by Sienna's behaviour.


Friday 03 January 2020 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Mandy is still jumpy when Darren tries to touch her. She questions whether he still loves Nancy, leaving an awkward beat in the air.

Later, Darren is shocked when his dad reveals his plan to move abroad and begs Jack not to leave him. Goldie is also trying to halt Breda and Jack's plans.

Meanwhile, Mercedes is preparing a special dinner for Bobby and is pleased to have her brother John Paul back by her side.

Elsewhere, Sienna agrees to take part in Liberty's sharing circle where they talk about any worries and hopes and dreams for the baby.
