PEGGED as one of our big stars on the rise, with one of Hollywood’s top management firms backing her, former Home And Away actor Marlo Kelly is used to comparisons.

“Any young female with brown hair and blue eyes, I’ve been told that I look like them,” the 21-year-old said.

Kelly, who grew up in Sydney’s inner west, got her breakthrough playing Skye Peters on Channel Seven soap Home And Away.

Since leaving Summer Bay at the end of 2015, she has picked up representation in the US, managed by Nils Larsen at Management 360, which also looks after Shaelene Woodley and Margot Robbie.

Her latest project is a digital series from Cobbstar Productions called Patricia Moore, in which she plays the daughter of award-winning actor Danielle Cormack.

“It will be a thrill to watch her star rise,” Cormack told Confidential of Kelly.

“Working with Marlo was a dream. She is an exceptionally sharp young woman whose perception and work ethic are a joy to be around.”

Kelly plays the title character in the 10-part series about a family on the run from cannibals. It was commissioned by French streaming company Blackpills.
