AFTER two years slogging it out in Los Angeles, Rhiannon Fish has seen how trying to crack Hollywood can break people.

The former Home and Away star, who landed a role on CW Network sci-fi drama The 100 and is back home filming new Aussie film Occupation on the Gold Coast, knows she’s been lucky.

“I have seen LA break people,” she said. “It is certainly not the place for everyone but I have been very lucky.

“It is a tough industry no matter where you are.

“You’ve got to go to LA with no ego because people try to break you and you’ve got to believe in yourself and stick it out.”

Fish, who previously dated singer Reece Mastin, will return to LA when she finishes filming in the next few months. But she is open to returning to Summer Bay.

“I truly would be happy to go back if they’d have me,” she said. “It is the best gig I’ve ever had, honestly.

“I certainly wouldn’t say no if they asked me.”

As for Hollywood, “a very happily single” Fish, 26, added: “It is tough to get a gig over there. At this point I am happy to be just getting into rooms, meeting people and still trying to get out there as much as possible.”
