Pleased to have thwarted Sam's plans, Connie reels when he unexpectedly turns up in her office as the ED's Speciality Doctor.
Later, Connie is forced to call on Sam for help during a particularly tricky procedure and she has to admit that Sam is an asset to the team.
Meanwhile, Dylan is in a bad place after Cal's death but puts it aside to help David. David proves as good as his word when Dylan has a panic attack whilst treating a patient.
Elsewhere, Jez is loved up and on cloud nine, but Iain and Lily avoid each other.
