Luke tries to convince Ollie that he's making the wrong decision giving his baby up for adoption. At the same time, Brooke and Nancy are calmer about the adoption meeting today.
Later, everyone worries when Luke turns up at the meeting.
Meanwhile, the police tell Diane that Harry's body is ready to be released. Breda tells Tony how much she's suffering with guilt over Diane and worry about Harry's body, but Tony has no sympathy. Breda also gets a phone call from Goldie, who is checking up on her. She lies that she's got a viewing at the farm.
At the McQueens', Joel tells Goldie to call the estate agent for an update, but they tell Goldie that the farm isn't even on the market. Goldie decides to find out exactly what her mum's up to.
Elsewhere, Marnie supports Diane with organising the funeral. They're both stunned when Tony's dad Edward turns up out of the blue, but Diane sends him packing.

Finn is suspicious of Edward, who turns up again the next morning. Edward just wants to help in Tony's absence and begs Diane to give him a chance.
Marnie and Cindy are in The Dog organising the funeral when Edward arrives. They're both smitten with him.
Meanwhile, Cindy is being tormented by the rare birds in the village, stopping building work on her new business venture from going ahead. She tells Edward about the predicament and later convinces Diane to hear Edward out.
Elsewhere, Breda tells Goldie that the estate agent is lying, but Goldie doesn't trust her mum and books an appointment for her with a psychiatrist.
Wednesday 23 October 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4
Tony thinks Breda should go to the psychiatrist's appointment, but she knows that he just wants her to reveal her darkest secrets to the doctor. He confesses that he only wants to see his family again.
Breda turns up at the hospital to humour everyone, but she's hostile with the doctor and, in her anger, reveals too much. The psychiatrist is concerned by what Breda says next before she storms out.
At The Dog, Breda fills her bag with food but is stopped by Sylver, Goldie and Jack before she can leave.
Meanwhile, Edward isn't concerned about Finn and when Diane says that she wants time to be 'Diane' again, he comes up with an idea. He invites Nancy, Mandy, Darren and Cindy round to the flat to give Diane a bit of adult company, which she's grateful for.
Everyone is impressed with Edward's intellect and ability to speak numerous languages. However, Luke arrives and clashes with Edward.
Back at home, Darren has a surprise for Mandy to try and live up to Edward's standards.
Thursday 24 October 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4
Breda hasn't been able to get to the pig farm to give Tony any food and he is suffering. Goldie has bought a tracking device so they can keep tabs on her.
Goldie follows Breda to the pig farm, leaving Breda panicked and Tony hopeful.
Meanwhile, Edward is like Diane's knight in shining armour, but continues to undermine Finn. Later, Diane is worried when she sees Jack crying outside the hospital. Edward gives Jack some good advice and is starting to make quite the impression on everyone.
Elsewhere, Cindy tells Luke to win back Ollie's respect but warns him not to talk about the baby. Luke meets up with Ollie and pitches him an idea about going into the restaurant business together
Also today, Cindy introduces Tom to her new builder, Woody. Tom rolls his eyes, knowing that Cindy has only hired him for his looks.
Charlie has found the entrance to the underground tunnels in the village and is excited to investigate. He has to hide when he hears Woody and Cindy. Cindy wants to skip the rules and regulations and start the build. Will Woody be won over by flirtatious Cindy?
Friday 25 October 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4
Tom finds out that Cindy has already paid Woody £30,000.
Charlie tells Tom that he heard them talking in the tunnels about building without council permission and they realise that Cindy has bribed Woody.
Meanwhile, Breda scrambles for answers to defend her actions.
Elsewhere, Cindy needs to be a tower of strength during a friend's hour of need.
