Neighbours Spoilers 7th May - 11th May 2018

Monday:

Chloe and Leo resolve to keep their relationship purely professional, but the chemistry between them is obvious.

After Amy admits to him that she is far from happy with matters, Mark confronts Elly over her dalliance with Liam.

Shane tells Dipi a few home truths, including the fact that her stubbornness is jeopardising their Face of Lassiter's role.

Tuesday:

Elly realises she is endangering her friendship with Amy and breaks things off with Liam, unaware that he is about to accompany her on a school camping trip.

Mishti scolds Piper for touching her phone while driving.

Dipi eats a large helping of humble pie and issues a public apology for her conduct, but business in the café remains slow.

Wednesday:

Chloe and Leo give into temptation but are caught in the act.

Paul's compliance training programme for all employees leads to Sheila quitting her job.

Fay returns to Erinsborough with some shocking news for her children.

Toadie refuses to work for Clive against Karl, but whatever game Rita is playing remains a mystery.

Thursday:

Poppy is sent home from the camping trip after being caught bullying Kirsha. Matters get worse when Kirsha and Susan get lost in the bush.

Elly discovers that Liam has been offered a job in New York, which includes private school fees for Jimmy.

Sheila begs Paul to reinstate her, but he has some new information and refuses to change his mind.

Friday:

When the news that Susan and Kirsha are lost arrives, there is no shortage of volunteers to join the search. Karl ignores warnings that he should not be out in the bush in his state of health, and gets into trouble while alone in the wilderness.

Elly realises that Jimmy is happy in Erinsborough and that Amy could not cope if Liam were to take him to the US.

Steph considers a major move.
Leo and Chloe keep their secret, but there is a price to pay.

Karl's Health Troubles Go From Bad To Worse When He Suffers A Serious Fall.

Karl is left fighting for his life after Susan and Kirsha go missing on a school camp in Neighbours this week.

Alone in dense bushland, the doctor suffers a painful fall & is seriously hurt while searching for his wife, Susan (Jackie Woodburne), and student Kirsha (Vani Dhir).

Karl (Alan Fletcher) has recently been struck down with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after a flight to London, so isn't in the best of health.

He may have survived his previous brush with fate, but will he be so fortunate this time?

Bully In The Bush.

Erinsborough High's Leadership Camp is nothing short of a disaster this week. And it all starts when Kirsha is cruelly bullied by fellow student poppy (Eloise Ross).

Kirsha is partially deaf as a result of a fireworks mishap last year. She bravely attends the camp, but things take a turn for the worse when poppy starts tormenting her.

The situation escalates to the point where Poppy physically threatens poor Kirsha. School principal Susan & Kirsha's sister, Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer), step in to calm the situation.

Troublemaker Poppy is soon sent home. But for Kirsha, the drama of the day is too much and she refuses to continue her hike in the bush.

"At this point, Susan makes a decision to stay with Kirsha and let the others go on with the kids," Jackie, 62, says.

However, when they eventually get moving again, the pair struggles to find their way back to camp.

"They're walking for quite some time and Susan becomes concerned they have gone the wrong way," Jackie says.

"They then realise they're horribly lost..."

Raising The Alarm

Meanwhile, the rest of the group continues, unaware Susan and Kirsha have wandered way off track.

When Yashvi and Xanthe (Lilly Van der Meer) eventually realise the pair have been gone too long, they decide to retrace their steps.

Unable to find them, they finally accept the truth: Susan and Kirsha are lost. Acting quickly, schoolteacher Elly (Jodi Anasta) calls the police. With nightfall upon them, Susan & Kirsha face a lonely night in the bush.

"As time goes on, it gets darker and colder," Jackie says. "They have no food, water or anything. It does become quite serious for them."

Will they be found in time?

The Hunt Is On.

Back in Erinsborough, word gets around about the hikers' grim situation. A panicked Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) races out to find his daughter, Kirsha. Karl, of course, wants to look for Susan.

However, Toadie (Ryan Moloney) advises against it. He points out that, considering Karl's serious DVT diagnosis, heading into the bush is too risky.

"He's the last person who should be traipsing through the bush to join the search," Jackie explains.

But as darkness sets in, a stubborn Karl refuses to listen to reason. He heads out alone to find Susan.

As he searches the thick bushland, Karl's health problems return. He's soon struggling to breathe.

"This [development] put him in real danger," Jackie says.

Gasping for air, a stricken Karl takes a sudden tumble down a rocky cliff!

Karl quickly realizes he's badly hurt. But with no-one around to help, his chances of survival look dire.

Naighbours favourites Susan and Karl Kennedy both find themselves in big trouble next week, as an Erinsborough High camping trip goes horribly wrong.

A tense new storyline sees fears mount for Susan (Jackie Woodburne) when she gets lost in the bush, prompting Karl to risk his own safety in order to help her.

The high-stakes plot kicks off when students, teachers and parents all head off into the outback for the school's leadership campout.

The trip gets off to a bad start when mean girl Poppy Ryan is finally caught bullying Kirsha Rebecchi (Vani Dhir), which leads to her being sent home in disgrace.

Although Kirsha has everyone's support, she's still left deeply upset by the incident and refuses to continue with the hike even though troublemaker Poppy has gone.

A caring Susan stays behind to soothe Kirsha, but when they later start moving again, they realise that they're hopelessly lost and – even worse – darkness is about to fall.

Once everyone realises that Susan and Kirsha are missing, a frantic search is launched to find them – but as night arrives, there's still no sign of them whatsoever.

When word of the situation gets back to Ramsay Street, a concerned Karl (Alan Fletcher) risks his own fragile health by making the reckless decision to head out into the bush and carry out his own search – all alone.

When the tough conditions become too much, Karl finds himself struggling to breathe and takes a nasty fall.

Will Xanthe Canning be able to help Karl when she stumbles across him?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
