i never see him as a full on baddie though
Neighbours bad boy Paul Robinson will return to his scheming ways as he plots to have Mason Turner put in jail, reports have revealed.
Paul, played by Stefan Dennis, strongly disapproves of his niece Kate Ramsay's blossoming relationship with Mason and seizes an opportunity to get rid of him for good, according to Australian magazine Soap World.
Later this month, UK fans will see Mason face big trouble with the law after Sonya Mitchell finally remembers his involvement in the attempted robbery at Lassiter's.
Mason needs all the help he can get as he is left facing a possible 15-year jail sentence, so he is relieved when Paul offers to assist him.
Paul agrees to pay Mason's legal fees and gets his own lawyer on board to work on the case.
In secret, however, Paul asks the lawyer to sabotage the defence - knowing that it will mean Mason stays away from the Street for a very long time.
While Ajay Kapoor (Sachin Joab) is quick to smell a rat over Paul's 'generous' behaviour, it remains to be seen whether Mason will realise what's really going on.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 in the UK, and weekdays at 6.30pm on Eleven in Australia.
Neighbours star Stefan Dennis has admitted that he doesn't want his character Paul Robinson to get a new love interest anytime soon.
Paul is currently grieving for the loss of his former lover Priya Kapoor (Menik Gooneratne), who passed away after being caught up in Toadie and Sonya's wedding day explosion.
Speaking to Digital Spy about the recent storyline and Paul's future, Dennis hinted that a long-term romance isn't on the cards after Priya's death.
He explained: "Menik is a charming lady to work with, and incredibly funny with a wicked sense of humour - we will all miss her.
"Would I like Paul to get a new love interest? No, not really. It would be predictable for him to start a new relationship. I'd like him to focus on trying to rule everyone else's life!"
However, asked to name his dream storyline, the actor added: "It would be fun to see him reunited with some of his earlier wives."
The 54-year-old also praised the Neighbours team for continuing to provide a mix of Paul's good and bad sides in storylines.
He said: "I do enjoy the bad boy in Paul, but that can become very predictable if it happens continually, so I think the writers give him just the right balance he needs to keep viewers guessing what's next."
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 in the UK, and weekdays at 6.30pm on Eleven in Australia.
Neighbours star Stefan Dennis has revealed that he would like to see Joe Mangel return to the soap.
Dennis, who plays Ramsay Street's Paul Robinson, said that he thinks a return from Mark Little, who plays Joe, would guarantee "hilarity".
When asked by Inside Soap who he would want to see return to the show, Dennis said: "Joe Mangel. There was a time back in the day when we had Henry Ramsay, Joe Mangel and Harold Bishop, and if those three were in a scene, it was guaranteed hilarity.
"We all love Harold and want to see him back, but I doubt very much that's going to happen. Mark Little has been back a couple of times already for guest stints, and last time he was here, he said he'd quite like to stay for longer."
Dennis also hinted that Paul's niece and nephew, Madison and Daniel, could turn up in Ramsay Street.
"Scott and Charlene's kids? That could be on the cards! I'm not saying it's confirmed or definitely going to happen, but it is always a possibility.
"There might be a long-lost character from Paul's life coming back soon, actually."
Neighbours bad boy Paul Robinson makes the mistake of underestimating newcomer Rhiannon Bates on UK screens later this month.
Paul (Stefan Dennis) sees a new side of Rhiannon after she gives herself a sophisticated makeover, having decided that it's time to respect herself more.
With Paul clearly attracted to Rhiannon (Teressa Liane), he wastes little time before inviting her out to lunch - and even takes the liberty of booking a hotel room for them.
On the day of their date, Paul suggests skipping their meal at Charlie's and instead takes Rhiannon straight up to a Lassiter's room. However, Rhiannon has come prepared with a plan to prove that she's not as easy as the businessman thinks.
After handcuffing Paul to the bed, Rhiannon makes a hasty exit - knowing that he'll be found in the compromising position by one of his room service staff members.

Rhiannon outsmarts Paul.
By chance, it's Mason Turner (Taylor Glockner) who finds Paul in the room. However, the timing couldn't be worse for Paul as he has just found out about Mason's criminal past and has threatened to expose it unless he stays away from Kate.
Mason soon gains the upper hand by taking a photo of a humiliated Paul and threatening to make it public unless he stops causing trouble.
After some reflection, however, Mason finally realises that honesty is the best policy and tells Kate (Ashleigh Brewer) about his criminal record.
To Mason's relief, Kate accepts that he has changed since moving from Mt Isa and agrees to go on a romantic picnic date with him.
Mason is pleased to finally have things on track with Kate, but with the Lassiter's robbery still on his mind, he knows that he still has a big secret to keep…
