Coldplay would be 'hurt' by Brits snub
Coldplay would be "hurt" if they are defeated in their nominated categories at this year's Brit Awards, say reports.
According to The Sun, rumours have emerged which suggest that the band may leave this year's ceremony empty-handed.
A Brits source said: "Coldplay are buzzing about the awards. They love being a part of the biggest night in British music and have been looking forward to it.
"Leaving with nothing would really hurt the band. After the year they have had it would be a real slap in the face to see someone else walk off with the awards."
Earlier this month, Coldplay picked up three Grammy Awards, while their fourth album Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends was recently revealed as the best selling LP in the world during 2008.
GaGa Brits show 'to be raunchiest ever'
Lady GaGa's performance at this year's Brit Awards will be the sexiest performance ever seen at the ceremony, it has been claimed.
The singer will duet with the Pet Shop Boys, who are due to pick up the Outstanding Contribution award at the event.
According to The Sun, the organisers want a performer who will "really shock".
An insider said: "It is going to be the raunchiest show the Brits has ever seen. GaGa is the girl. She will be perfect. Don't expect many clothes."
The theme for this year's ceremony will reportedly be based on Glastonbury, with the stage at Earls Court being shaped like the festival's Pyramid Stage and filled with farm-related props.
Last week, Gabriella Cilmi said that Lady GaGa "needs to put some clothes on", adding that the 'Just Dance' singer will "catch something" if she continues to walk around in her underwear.
