Gary Lucy quits 'The Bill'

Gary Lucy has quit ITV police drama The Bill after nearly four years.

The 27-year-old, who plays DC Will Fletcher, will bow out of the show in a few months' time upon the expiry of his current contract, which ties him with the series until September.

I didn't realise he's been around for four years.

Haven't seen much of him since he went to CID. I preferred him in uniform.

No great loss he hasn't been one of the best bobbies. Can we have Stamp back to replace him.

I didn't mean it like that :lol: I thought he was better suited to walking the beat than solving big crimes.

I think he will be a loss to the show. I liked his character.
