Waking The Dead Series 8 starts tonight at 9pm on BBC1...who will be watching?

I've heard a few things about this episode

Stella dies apparently in a shoot out?

It looks like a brilliant opening two parter!

Sharon Maughans in it i think, who is married to Trevor Eve in real life.

Really poorly advertised for this series, only found it was on by chance tonight.
Really enjoyed it and am looking forward to tomorrow, apart from it clashes with Blure Murder on ITV :(
I can't believe Stella will die from a gun shot wound to her leg, but you never know, she might have a blood clot or something, but she was certainly talking in the hospital in tomorrow preview!

I like Stella it's shame Boyd doesn't have more faith in her to do a good job.

Stella will depart the series in the opening story of series eight. She's going to be replaced by Detective Sergeant Katrina Howard, she's the girl that was on guard with Stella tonight. She joins the Cold Case squad in the next story. Not sure i'm going to like her, she's quite annoying already.

Gutted that Stella leaves ... i really like her!
Rather good episode last night ... however not one of the best, but still good :)
I just love Boyd :)!

I love waking the dead so glad its back as I need something new to watch since the street, life on mars and new tricks ended

i couldnt believe she died that quickly, i thought she was going to be ok. Poor Boyd.

I found it ery confusing, but no change there then.

I'm gutted this series has come to an end :( Like Silent Witness, it was far too short.

Any news on series 9?

I wonder if Boyd let Linda go :hmm: I loved Linda, she's such a complex and manipulative person.


Is it just me or does Trevor Eve get better with time? :wub: I would...

He really does, i loved this series! it was really good, my favourite episode was the body parts one, with Eve.
