Boyd finally forgives Summer for “dobbing” and reassures his family that his health scares are over. It seems any problems were due to residues of HgH in his system and everyone is relieved to have the old Boyd back. When Boyd offers to take Summer on a mysterious outing, promising something she’ll never forget, Summer happily goes along. But the true extent of Boyd’s mental problems is revealed when Boyd explains the reason behind the trip – to see their dead mother, who is once again alive.
Lil admits she has feelings for Paul but is unwilling to jeopardise her marriage. Distraught, Paul declares his love for Lil and begs her to reconsider. Although tempted, Lil stands firm and returns home. Lil’s rejection fuels Paul’s desire for revenge and he rekindles plans to destroy Erinsborough. David and Serena are overjoyed at Lil’s return but it becomes clear that problems still exist within the marriage. When Paul offers David a job as an accountant, it seems his generosity towards the Bishop family knows no bounds. But are his motives really so innocent?
David takes his emotional turmoil out on a hapless Dylan, further fuelling Dylan’s hatred of David. When Dylan witnesses David publicly berating Bree, Dylan breaks into the Bishop house and completely trashes it. Terrified by the likely consequences, Dylan opens up to Paul, who provides an alibi for his young protégé.

Summer’s shocked and scared. Boyd sees her fear and, still delusional, takes off. Summer bravely finds him and lures him home. Tragically, Boyd is forced to revisit the grief of his mother’s death. Steph, Sky and Serena band together with Summer and Karl to support Boyd, but Steph is forced to her most difficult parental task yet – having Boyd committed to the psychiatric ward.

Susan’s date with Gary goes well, even after he opens up and tells her that he’s recently behaved very badly. Susan sees him maturely admitting to having passed through bad times and being now focussed on getting his life in order. But when Sindi sees them together, she privately confronts Gary. Gary vows that he’s told Susan all but the gory details of their sleazy liaison – will Sindi tell? Sindi holds back, and Susan, oblivious, enjoys the rest of the date. She tells Sindi what a great guy Gary is, and Sindi’s torn – should she tell Susan about her dirty secret?
Toadie acts as Eva’s lawyer and defender when he meets with the club owner who refused to employ her because of her “look”, and wins an out-of-court settlement. He’s proud - and Eva’s even more in love with her wonderful man.
Connor goes with Carmella to counselling with Karl. Karl sees the need to speak with her alone, and Carmella opens up. Karl gives his opinion about solutions, one of them being that she needs time away from relationship pressure. Still in love with Connor, Carmella’s torn about what to do next.
Stuart angsts over his sight-restoring operation.

With the operation looming, Stuart presents Sindi with a will. Shocked, she insists it’s not necessary but Stuart affirms it is – major surgery carries risks and he wants to know that all his affairs are in order. After a tearful farewell, Sindi watches Stuart wheeled into surgery and an agonising wait ensues. To Sindi’s horror, she learns that complications develop during Stuart’s procedure – the damage to his eyes is worse than the doctor’s first thought and his chances of seeing again are even lower. The surgery over, Stuart’s bandages are removed; is his brave battle with blindness destined to end in permanent blackness?
Eva announces that she has a surprise for Toadie – Eva Destruction and The Lawman have been asked to join a rock ‘n roll wrestling tour of country Australia. Toadie does his best to seem enthusiastic, but when Eva sees him help a troubled Harold with some legal issues, she comes to understand why he can’t take a year out of his career to follow the wrestling dream. The tenderness of their parting moment is shattered when Carmella announces that she is also leaving with Eva. With Karl’s advice for some time apart from Connor in mind, she seizes the opportunity to run away from her troubles. Can a desperate Connor convince the girl he loves not to work out of his life?
Ever the shyster, Lou has cooked up a scheme to make more money out of the General Store’s new capacity as agents for the local drycleaners – he’s doing the cleaning himself. He comes unstuck when Lyn leaves some sexy underwear in with her more innocuous items. She discovers his scam and, mortified that he’s manhandled her delicates, bays for his blood.

As Boyd struggles through psychiatric evaluations and Summer seeks reassurance, Stephanie finds herself ever more in need of Max’s support. But with Max still unreachable on the oilrig, her worst fears are confirmed – Boyd has schizophrenia.
Sky provides support and company for a fearful Boyd but when he becomes delusional he lets slip the truth about his dalliance with Serena. Sky is unsure if this is even the truth, but is shaken nonetheless.
With the corneal transplant a success, Stuart delights in his ability to see again. Tender moments with Sindi abound until he picks up on her discomfort around Susan’s new love interest. Sindi fesses up – Gary was the man she almost slept with for money. Stuart is outraged – not only that Sindi could let her friend date such a man – but that Gary could well be using Susan to get close to Sindi again. Sindi confronts Gary but is won over by his sincerity - his affection for Susan seems as genuine as his sense of shame at the whole sordid situation.
A stunned Connor blames Toadie for Carmella having left him. Despite his own grief over Eva’s departure, Toadie patiently endures the attack and sets to work comforting Connor with the best things in life – footy, beer and plenty of frivolous blokey fun. The friendship is reaffirmed and their day of leisure is capped off with the news that Stu’s sight has been restored – the House of Trouser is back!

Reeling from Boyd’s admission that he had a dalliance with Serena, Sky seeks her cousin out for reassurance. To her horror, Serena only confirms the painful truth. As the girls fight in the middle of Ramsay Street, Janae overhears and informs Stingray of Serena’s betrayal. Spurred on by Janelle and Janae, Stingray seeks out Serena to give her a piece of his mind but his resolve quickly weakens; he can’t break up with her – he simply loves her too much. Janae is far less forgiving, and slaps Serena hard on the face. Meanwhile, hurt and angry, Sky approaches Dylan for comfort and, struck by a reckless impulse, she kisses him.
As Izzy begins to assert her newfound power over him, Paul becomes desperate to even the stakes. Hoping to discover where Izzy has hidden his incriminating jacket, Paul instructs his willing henchman Dylan to follow her. Although he’s distracted by his dalliance with Sky, Dylan is diligent in his efforts, even spying on Izzy during a romantic moment with Karl.
Feeling powerful and confident in light of her new arrangement with Paul, Izzy directs her efforts to repairing her relationship with Karl. Rather than the flirty banter that once characterised their relationship, Izzy is honest and direct – Karl is the person she wants most to be with in the world. After a pleasant evening at Scarlet, the couple returns to Karl’s flat. The fires of passion are finally reignited.
The clash of values continues at the Scully house and Lyn becomes uncomfortable with some of Janelle’s ideas on parenting.

Izzy and Karl’s romance is rekindled and she returns to the flat permanently. Izzy’s cosiness is short-lived, however, as she discovers Dylan is following her at Paul’s behest. Izzy orders Paul to call off his lackey – she knows he’s after the gloves but if anything happens to her, her lawyer has enough information to bring him down. Paul withdraws – advantage Izzy!
David is rocked by developments at the council – it seems that Erinsborough is under threat. In ten years Ramsay Street might be under water! Paul reveals that he too knows about the problem, but also has a solution…
Paul and Liljana return to charity work and despite Liljana’s best efforts to avoid personal matters, their frisson continues.
Lyn is concerned by the lack of guidance and poor example Janelle provides for her children – especially when Janelle goes up against the Bishops in defence of Janae slapping Serena. Lyn tries hard to bite her tongue but when Janelle dodges work at the salon and the mealtime mayhem of the Timmins’ clan becomes too much for her, Lyn cracks and lays down the law.
Reeling from Janae’s slap, Serena is miserable. Liljana, however, senses that Serena is not entirely happy with Stingray and counsels her daughter to follow her heart.
Dylan’s budding crush on Sky surfaces as he picks a fight with Stingray about Boyd and Serena.

Poor Boyd! What about Sky. She is so sensible and Boyd is a little boy who always wants his own way. And that cannot be blamed on the tumour!
