Found this on htv.
27th August - Ruth Collapses?
In the BBC Casualty preview video, a character wearing a burgundy evening dress can be seen lying motionless on the floor.
This appears to be Ruth and the pattern of the floor on which the character lies confirms the location to be Leigh Court (above, right). Georgia filmed at Leigh Court on 20th June so, with the 3 month transmission delay, the episode should be coming up sometime very early in the series. Hopefully its nothing too serious for Ruth.

I think it is ruth, has anyone else seen the preview on the website? It makes it clearer that it could be her I think

Yes it does look like him, and the hair!
He doesnt look that fussed though to me!
And also in the preview did anyone else see who I think is Toby?
It is indeed Toby. Seems like he's dropping Ben off at work or something like that.

I remember him making Toby roar when he first arrived. :lol: Bless Ben and Toby though they are so sweet.
Jay is probably just a bit shocked. :p I wonder who is behind him in the second cap.

He was the councillor (I think that was his job) who Toby accused of sexual harassment. Then Toby realised yes he was gay and left Holby to be with Ben after nearly dying in that drunken boating accident.

she forgets to take the pill and thinks she's pregnant.
ima guessing due to the position of the blood that she miscarries

I hope she will be okay, the only reason I started watching Casualty in the first place was because of the storyline where Ruth hanged herself. Since then I have been hooked on it!

i know, the ruth storylines have been good but i hope this is a good story as well. I hope that they don't depress her enough that she tries to kill hersef again. why can't anything good happen to Ruth, I'm betting that her and jay break up soon, the writers dont like anything too good to happen to them.

I really do hope that they do finally give Ruth a good storyline. She would have made a good mum methinks. Remember when she saved Maggies granddaughter from a mad patient? When she was holding her, I thought a baby really suited her.

The episode where Ruth saves Maggies granddaughter?? Sorry, I am not entirely sure! I just found the clip on Youtube. I don't think it was long after she tried to kill herself.
I would love to see those two get together properly instead of trying to keep it a secret.

well, ruth finds out shes pregnant on 10th and is invited to the surgeons dinner which ima guessing is the fancy hall place. so i think it will be the 17th october when she actually faints....
only a guess tho

I don't see him breaking up with her, he was so worried about her when Noel told him about her suicide attempt. I think he will stick by her.:) Jay isn't that cruel I don't think

Oh do we remember the early days of Ruth on casualty and we all called her a cold hearted bitch. How times have changed and now she is loved just like Lara, Holly, Harry and many others.
