Debbie (Charley Webb) and Cain (Jeff Hordley) face the village for the first time with baby Sarah. Meanwhile Jack (Clive Hornby) tells a stunned audience at the pub that Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is the father of Debbie’s baby. How will the villagers react?

Elsewhere Louise (Emily Symons) tells Val (Charlie Hardwick) that last night with Matthew King (Matt Healy) was a one off. Val reassures her that her secret is safe but can she be trusted?

Total mayhem ensues when Pollard (Chris Chitell) hears the truth from the villagers about the real reason for their attendance to the party. Although Val (Charlie Hardwick) is heartbroken when Pollard blames her, she whole-heartedly apologises and after a few home truths are exchanged Pollard softens. Will they finally become an item?

The Dingles are coming round to Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) being Sarah’s (Lucy Warren/Lilly-May Bartley) father, due to the fact Jack (Clive Hornby) is worth a bob or two. However Cain (Jeff Hordley) makes a point of reminding Andy what will happen if he messes them around. Will Andy continue to live up to his responsibilities as a father?

Meanwhile, back at the party Louise (Emily Symons) is tempted to take a break from running the bar to head off with Matthew (Matt Healy). However she turns down his advances. Is the guilt over betraying Terry finally getting to her?

When Val (Charlie Hardwick) arrives at Pollards (Chris Chittell) with her worldly possessions he is visibly unaware of her plans to move in. Will her talk of basques and fishnets convince him that they should live together?

Over in the Woolpack Ivan (Daniel Brocklebank) takes pleasure in buying Tamsin (Jenny Gleave) drinks, but she ends up so drunk that Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) has to politely ask her to leave.

Louise agrees but quickly susses that Matthew doesn’t appreciate how difficult she finds being dishonest to Terry. Upset she calls the affair off and leaves.

Meanwhile, Pollard (Chris Chittell) suggests to Val (Charlie Hardwick) that with his factory and business acumen and her sewing skills they could set up a successful soft furnishings company together. Will she agree to mix business with pleasure?

After a successful day trip with Scott (Ben Freeman) and their daughter Jean (Meg Pearson), Zoe (Leah Bracknell) tells Effie (Philippa Peak), the nanny, how impressed she is with the effort Scott has been making as a father. Will Zoe reconsider her decision to leave the village?
