I'm happy Elle and Lucas are back on :cheer:
If ever there was a couple to be together, it is those two. Hopefully they can be together for quite a while before complications set it, as they are bound to, it seems that happy couples do not exist for long in soapland :(

apart from Karl and Susan, even when they split up you know they'll be back together at some point!
I would just like to see a couple get together and STAY TOGETHER without splitting up, even if it is only for a very short time. If soaps want to reflect real life then they need to do this, not all couples in real life go their separate ways within minutes of getting hitched. :nono:

I cant stand Cass either, she is awful, i quite like donna, but the others are awful.
I am quite liking Zeke at the minute with the whole radio thing, i am wondering if that is going to lead on to something or if its just a filler.

Lucas and Elle remind me a bit of a younger Susan and Karl.. They are sooooo funny, and have little petty arguments.. just like Sus and Karl!!! Love it!!!

ok, possibly one of the most random ever episodes of Neighbours today!
I agree! it was rather strange and random. There didnt seem to be much point to it.
at the end this man with a violin got out af a limo with paul robinson and all the neighbours started dancing in the street, it was kind of sweet but a bit random.
Oh yeah! that episode! that made me laugh :lol:

i missed today's ep! :crying: can someone give me a breif rundown? yesterday's ep was so good!
I only saw the second half, Elle has to chose between Lucas and Paul as Lucas thinks Paul is too interfering in their lives. Toadies dog needs to be put to sleep as he has cancer :( Susan has figured out that Zeke is Lost Boy. :)

Isnt it Elles house, Remember Her and Oliver ganged up on Paul and conned him out of everything his business, house. I cant remember how it happened exactly but it all got signed over to Elle.
It was revenge for paul splitting Elle/Dylan and Oliver/Carmella I think - pretty extreme though IMO

does anyone else think it REALLY isn't a good idea to go to a festival when you're due in two weeks? surely she's going to the toilet every 5mins and can't spend all day on her feet. plus does she think all babies magically appear on their precise due date?

i like the storyline in principle, but surely Susan is too old. she must be getting on for 50 and whilst it is possible to carry a baby at that age there would be a significiantly increased risk.

What happenned today? Is it really Steph's fault or is it one of those 'mistakes' they indulge on neighbours and it will all be fine? I've missed a fair few episodes over the last couple of months- How come she is working back in the garage? What about the bar?
shes sold the bar i think, as Rebecca now has it, i think theres still some unanswered questions.

Steph decided the bar was taking up too much of her time so she sold it to rebecca so she had more time with Charlie, Lucas got into trouble playing poker which led to a near kiss between Lucas/steph so he started to avoid her hoping the problem would go away cos he loves elle. So she was over loaded with work at the time of the Parkers service

He keeps lining things up in neat rows, like his pens. And the other day he was checking over and over again that India's pram brakes were on, and panicking because he couldn't find the baby cream. He had a dream about the pram running away too.
Seems like anxiety and OCD to me.

No, they did not get married. Lyn arrived just as they were going to exchange vows and told Paul that he was not actually divorced from her and would become a bigamist if he went ahead with the wedding. Not sure yet why Lyn is back. :)

Yes, the deb ball storyline is really mind-numbing. I'll be glad when it's over. I'm finding the new Ramsay kids really annoying too, but maybe they'll grow on me.
I find most of their dresses quite hideous tbh.
I agree - a lot of the dresses looked like nightdresses to me. Also, Kate's impromptu dance was really cringeworthy.
Was no better than when she went to the competitiion where this Jason guy was not impressed
I noticed that she was no better, too. I hope this storyline is finished soon, because I really don't want to watch more of Kate's dancing. It makes me want to switch over (or off). It's not like me to want to switch off one of my beloved soaps.

Too simple for soap stories, the obvious never seems to be the option because it lacks drama :)

Unbelievable, The DHS allowed Sophie and Harry to live with Kate (not sure of her age) without any guardian, until harry got in trouble.Then they would rather split 3 kids up who recently (within the last year) lost their mother, when their biological uncle is willing to take them in and the kids are happy to go.
I know paul has a colorful past but if that is all that is in the way surely there is another solution i.e they could just have frequent DHS visits to make sure everything is going ok with everyone,

If I remember correctly, Zeke was in the same year as Rachel and the others because he skipped a year as he was so clever. They never mention now, though, that he's at least a year younger than Ringo, Declan etc. How easily producers and writers forget storylines.

I liked dan. but they have totally ruined his character and it all seemed to happen overnight, ever since sam got in contact again he suddenly became a jerk. Before all that he knew libby was part of a tight family and it didnt seem to bother him
I can kind of see his point about the interfering in-laws, but you're right that he knew the situation when he married Libby. The old Dan never would have been so nasty to Karl and Susan however much he thought they were interfering in his marriage.

Poor Dan, Susan was trying to control everything....i can't stand her, or Karl anymore and it's sad to see Libby and Dan's relationship go off the rails. Libby's got Ben at least. This last miscarriage was the 3rd time Dan's lost a baby through miscarriage, poor guy...i felt and still feel more for him than i do any of the Kennedy's! But i do like Zeke!
I can understand your point of view but Susan was trying to help Libby and Dan with the baby after they lost their own. The tension in both families connected to the surrogacy because of all the publicity it attracted and Dan's reaction to most things after that brought out the mother instinct in Susan, and her pregnancy would have made her quite hormonal too. I feel sorry for all of them.

I don't know why Libby was so bothered about another baby. Like you say, she has Ben. Some women feel really lucky to have one child. She seemed okay until Sam came back pregnant, and the baby wasn't Dan's anyway.
But so many couples want to have their own baby when one of them or even both of them already have children from previous relationships, especially women, that is the impression I have from what is going on in my own circle of friends and acquaintances. Usually when they can ill afford their own life style, let alone another baby. I wonder whether it is to bind the man closer to them because they are jealous of their man's previous relationship but I might be wrong
Once the actor who plays Dan announced he was leaving the writers completely ruined the character i would prefer if he had died

I agree with lmunnster3 about Dan - I've felt for him more throughout this storyline too. Much as I like the Kennedy's, who would want them for in-laws? I think their interfering is the problem in Dan and Libby's marriage, not the surrogacy. Dan's character has been changed so that he is nastier than he used to be, but I don't really blame him given what's been going on.

Yes, some women do seem to want to have a baby with a new partner, it's true. You would think that their love would be enough, especially when it puts someone's health at risk wouldn't you? Must admit, Libby's wining about it got on my nerves! I was with Karl on this one.

Lucas initially didn't want anybody's help and chucked them all out of his hospital room, but Steph refused to go and in the end he accepted her help.
Paul paid off the thugs who were after Andrew and said he had to work the money off, but Rebecca then found Andrew packing to go. He said that he'd only come back so that Paul could pay his debts because he owed him for never being a father to him.
That's all I can remember.
What on earth does Donna see in the charmless Andrew?

Ringo is being made out as totally boring at the moment, too, which makes Andrew seem more exciting. I still wouldn't touch Andrew with a barge pole if I were Donna, though.

I dont know what donna sees in robinson junior, but i dont think her and ringo are a good couple either. he is her complete opposite and not in a good way like opposites attract. he hates it whenever she is herself like goes out dancing, he is boring

I think a pregnancy could be dangerous as it could cause the cancer to come back. If you remember, she went through with her first pregnancy even though it was dangerous for her (Max even tried to have her committed!), so I assume she'd feel the same this time. Libby and Dan wouldn't let her put herself in that position for their sake though.

I think Toadie has never stopped loving Steph and will do anything for her. I hope he realises soon how ridiculous the whole thing is, and that he's ruining his life.

I can't understand when Karl stopped working at the hospital. I thought he was still working there. I suppose I must have missed the episode where he resigned? I know he was definitely working there a few months ago, but they're currently talking as if it was years ago.

he did stop working years ago to be a medical rep (or something like that), i dont know if he started working back after that im a little hazy on that part

i was confused at that as well, i want to know whats going on with Mia and the police guy, theres something not quite right going on there.
It looks like Mia got a reduced sentence in exchange for getting evidence on the leader of the animal rights group for the police. For some reason, she's trying to get Zeke, even though he's not the leader. It doesn't really make sense.

They announced it at the beginning when that other actress played Libby too, so it's something Neighbours normally does when another actor takes over a part. I think it's quite a good idea.
You are right, Katy, now that you mention it, seems normal procedure for Neighbours when actors change

i'm not sure, i've totally lost track with what is going on with this Paul/Declan/Diana storyline!
It is quite confusing. I'm not even sure if Declan's still in charge of Lassiters - last night Paul was acting as if he wasn't.
I am finding this current episodes quite boring tbh I couldnt care less about Declan (since the new guy took over) and we all know Paul dont die

I think Steph arranged for Toadie to mind/be a big brpther to Callum and then when his nan became sick he came to live with Toadie and when she died he adopted him
I like Kyle more and more
