"Know you, Pat? I used to own you."

What did he mean by this? Surely that he was Pat's pimp when she was a prostitute?

I think so. They had a conversation a few weeks ago where it was indirectly implied.

Yeah I read a while ago that he owned a prostitute parlour... Obviously Pat was a client.

Prostitute Parlour? Is that a posh name for a whore house?

I am almost 100% positive that Johnny was Pats pimp and of course Pat was at the "parlour" to provide a service (if you know what i mean ;) )

It's NEVER been mentioned about any sort of parlour in the programme :)

Although I reckon he was Pat's pimp as this has been strongly hinted at on a few occasions now :D

I read on the BBC boards that Johnny ran a prostitute racket they called it. This being a place from where prostitutes work - ie get thier jobs. Now, Pat was working there, as she was a prostitute. I'm terribly sorry if calling it a parlour is to posh for you.

I think they are more commonly known as 'Massage Parlours".

My interepretation (?) of it is that Johnny was not her pimp but one of her clients who kept her exclusively for his use (? thats bad but cant think of anyother way of putting it) ie buying her clothes paying her rent etc

Anyone read any Martina Cole - Sounds a bit like somthing out of one of her books

Anyone see the Pat and Mo special awhile back? It detailed their time as young women. It was then, that it showed him as a young man, taking advantage of Patty and running a prostitute racket. I think he owned a pub or a club.
