Galapogos Islands

I'm heading off to the Galapogos Islands/ Ecudor/ Colombia over Christmas/January time and really looking forward to it! Anybody know much about the area? Anybody know anything? Thanks!

My Boss went this year. Apparently they only let so many people on the islands each year. Also your not supposed to wear nail varnish or anyother Toxic Substance.

I've heard that they're also quite stringent on litter and other things like it. They really want to preserve the natural environment. Its supposed to beautiful though...

Its supposed to be amazing!!! They are quite strict but i'm sure it will be worth it. You will have to read up on Darwin before you go. Unless you are going as part of a course in which case you will an expert already!

I'm not much of an expert but most certainly am looking forward to it. It shouldn't be too humid when I go. Columbia should be an experience...
