:wall: the millers were still living in the dump that demi, darren and mickey grew up in they lived near by a boy and his violent father. demi, everynight went out to see the boy. he was called leo. they were both 14 and leo was more popular than demi but they both didn't care. they both loved each other right from the first time they saw each other. everything was fine! well, untill.......
demi: leo? were are ya?
leo:shhhh! i'm up here!
demi: what are you doing up there?
Leo: well, my dad got drunk and beat me up real bad, and kicked me out so i'm living up here for the moment! my mum and dad might be splitting up so i cant take any chances, i'll be killed if i aint careful!
demi: leo that's horrible!
leo: i-i-i-it'ssss s-s-s-so c-c-cold up here, maybe you'd better go back in, i don't want you to get ill
Demi: i cant leave y.....
Rosie: DEMI MILLER COME HERE NOW! YOU'D BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION FOR THIS!

demi ran down the steps to find an extremely angry rosie standing in the bathroom with a stick type thing in her hand she'd found in the bin
demi went white
rosie: are you pregnant?
demi: um....
rosie: ANSWER ME!
darren stepped out of his room and stared at his mum and demi
darren: no way!
rosie: I WONT TELL YA AGAIN, AE YOU PREGNANT?
Demi: SO WHAT IF I AM? I'M NOT A KID!
Rosie:I TOLD YOU TO TELL ME IF YOU EVER FELT LIKE THIS AND DARREN GET BACK TO YOUR ROOM!
by now all the millers were gathering around demi and rosie 's yelling match
rosie: RIGHT, you're getting an abortion young lady you aren't having this kid whose is it?
demi: leo's and YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ME GIVE UP MY CHILD, SOME PEOPLE NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO HAVE CHILDREN! I KNOW THAT COS LEO'S OT A RELATIVE WHO LIVES IN WALFORD WHO'S CALLED STACY SLATER AND SHE KNOWS A LADY CALLED SHARON WATTS WHO CAN'T EVEN HAVE KIDS!
Rosie: DON'T YELL AT ME! you are grounded and you will get rid of that baby!

rosie punches demi, and darren and demi ARE fighting against their parents and there is a knock on the door
it's the tax collector AND leo is behind him and ray is behind his son and ray's wife is behind him and the nieghbours are behind them and they all have complaints and the millers are broke!

the neighbours push past leo and yell
neighbours: what's all this racket? you keep us up everynight and we're glad you're going

trisha: now, what's all this idea about my leo becoming a dad?
ray:yeah, get the tart out and let her speak
darren: don't call my sister a tart!
ray: i call her whateva i wanna call 'er!
demi: what ?
leo looks hopefully at demi and she can see he's got bleeding and bruises all over him
ray: tell my boy that you're not pregnant
demi: SO WHAT IF I AM?
ray: you're 14! leo, you're gonna have to be tought a lesson even better now
ray starts to drag leo back to the flat, (kieth went to the pub ages ago so did mickey) and demi tries to grab demi and pull her to the flat but leo throws himself at demi
leo: don't let him hurt me again, please!
demi held him tightly and ray and trisha were pulling leo, darren and demi were pulling leo as well
rosie stopped pulling and broke leo and demi apart and leo was dragged into the flat
demi blocked her ears as she heard a horrible screasm and a loud noise

rosie pulled demi in to the flat and started yelling at her as they all packed their bags, they were going to see if they could get into a house in walford
rosie: DEMI, FORGET ABOUT THAT USELESS BOY, YOU'LL NEVA SEE HIM AGAIN!
demi: I CANT
darren: WILL YOU STOP SHOUTING AT DEMI!
ROSIE: NO I AM BOSS HERE NOW!
DARREN: WERE'S DAD?
DEMI: AND MICKEY?
ROSIE: AH, THEY ALL WAYS TAKE YOUR SIDE DON'T THEY?! WELL NOT TODAY I SENT THEM TO THE PUB TO GET DRUNK AND THEN YOU'LL BE ON OUR SIDE!
DEMI: I AM TOTALY LEAVING YOU LOT ALL YOU DO IS SCREAM
DARREN:'ere what about me, you cant leave me here with the 5 foot fire breathing dragon!
demi: i won't
rosie: NO YOU WONT!
but demi had already done her bag, grabbed darren and walked out
demi went to knock on leo's door
leo answered
he had blood all down his arm and collapsed on to demi and
leo: you said you wouldn't let him hurt me, please dont leave me with him again
then leo's dad started pulling him back in and darren and demi pulled leo out and they'd won, they ran all the way out, leo had to limp cos he broke his leg, rosie and trisha and ray ran after them,
the 3 kids ran to the hospital and they said what happened and demi told the nurse that she was pregnant and she said not to worry,
the nurse looked at leo and he'd been injured so badly he had to stay in hospital for a few weeks
demi and darren turned to go and wait in the waiting room
leo: demi,
demi: yes?
leo: don't leave me all alone
demi: i won't, nor will darren we will be living in the hospital until you come out of hospital,
leo: in there?
he points to a room with 5 beds and it is coplourful and loads of toys imn, free vending machines, wich you don't put money in , and you get drink AND food and toys and everything in there for free
demi: yes, we won't have to come out, and if our parents are still walking around,
darren: then we can all stay in that room,
leo: were are our parents?
darren: they are yelling at the doctors and saying they'd never hurt us and your dad's saying that you tried commiting suicide and that's why you got those bruises
leo: he's lying though!
demi: we know thayt, the doxtors know that, and guess what?
leo: what?
darren + demi: we 3 are gonna be on the telly and it will be on in the world and you just have to say what happendd, i'll say what happened, and our parents will be locked up!
demi: and as darren and i have no home no more, we can live here until we want to live anywere else and there are thousands of those rooms so me and darren dont have to share with any othea kid!
leo: what about me? i cant go back to my dad
darren: yeah but when you are better, you live with us, o yeah and there are designer clothes to wear in tjere to!
leo: so it's like heaven while living?
darren + demi: yeah!
leo: cool!

4 weeks later all 3 teenagers were playing on their quadbikes thaqt they'd got from there nicer family
they were having raes on the hospital field (demi and darren had to share cos they were twins aned their family coudnt afford 2)
and demi did a backflip and landed on her feet on the grass
darren and leo laughed because she was very dizzy and could hardly walk
they parked their quadbikes and locked them up, gave the key to the nurse and went over to see demi
they would have seen demi if she was there, darren and leo started to panic because she was there a second a go and she was gone the next!

she collapsed
leo: what happened?
darren: she's had morphine injected into her, we need to get back to the hospital
