I think it will turn out to be a new charc.
I also think (although i hate to say it cause i love him) that Ron is going to be killed off and one of the twins

No, I have read them. Normally rushed and within a couple of hours (yes, i really can read that fast). But I'd like to read them slowly and let my imagination run if you know what I mean.
The damn movies spoil it as well as your imagination is forced by the characters the movies show.
I always thought that Sirius Black would look totally different.
Although Gary Olman did a brilliant job i just dont think he fitted the bill

Yeah i know what you mean. I just hope J K doesnt leave anything hanging, she has already said that the very last word in the 7th book will be scar.....been trying to think what that could mean and can only think of things that leaves the story unfinished.

i've been looking on the website getting myself all excited, when do you think ron and hermionie will decide they love each other? and will harry find love?
Well there has already been a picture realised with Harry's name carved into a tree and a love heart round it but you cant see the other name because of a shadow. I dont think it will be Cho Chang again though maybe him and ginny?
As for Ron and Hermione if Ron doesn't die in this one then probably right at the end.
What do you think?

Nah Harry and Hermione just dont go together.......it just cant be done and J K's already given stuff away about Ron and Hermione in other books.
I also think she's under a lot of pressure to put the two of them together if you read her website there are quotes that she is fearful of the R & H manic fans lol.
With Harry it could be anyone really, Luna Maybe? He seams to have a connection with her.

i think the half blood prince will be a totally new character and fred and george will make a fortune in the joke shop giving the weasleys some cash
according to the site HBP is going to be quite reflective with harry wondering what if it had been neville and not him who became the chosen one
Is that the WB site? or another HP site?
J K has also said that harry will have his shortest stay at the Dursley this summer and it will be on a happier note. Wonder what that will be?

i've been looking at JK's site, i think the weasely's will rescue him, at the end of the last book it says he only has to stay there a month to keep the bond between Lilys family strong

Yeah me too, Sirius has to come back some how, maybe he can communicated to him through the vale?
Snape...I love snape.....someone asked J K what his boggart would turn into and she wouldn't answer because it would give too much away.
I know he's been working for the two sides but i think there is a lot more going on between him and Dumbledore.
Maybe he'll get the Darks Art's job this year but i think it will more than likly be Tonks

not sure what that can be?????? she was a muggle she has a thick sister (she married dursely) she loved james, and she played fair (she stuck up for snape in his memory even though he was horrible to her)
Maybe something to do with the protection spell she put on Harry?
Or something to do with her job because apparently that's a bit part of the book too.

noooooo the pope can't ban harry potter
someone has to help me fill my scrap book on the JKR site. I've only found like 3 things and apparently there's 10
i've got the leaf and the feather and the bubbles or whatever they were behind the coin box....i've also got the sorting hat scribbles and the typewritten paper and i managed to use the rubber to reveal the symbols in the faq section...now i'm stuck
If you go into the rubbish bin there is a pen on the floor on a piece of paper. If you double click on it, it will break and give you more clues. Also clicking on the thing that looks like a broken egg in the same place will give you something.

Does anyone have an idea what Dudley's worst fear was when he was attacked by the dementor?

It really is a good atmosphere going at midnight - There are lots of kids dressed uo and they are so excited (so am i usually lol) At asda they even read the back of the book about 5 mins before to get you all charged up

The back cover for the US version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been released, raising questions and giving a few clues to the plot.
The picture, by Mary GrandPre, shows Ron and Hermione, with two other Hogwarts' students, looking up at Lord Voldemort's Dark Mark.
The wizard pupils are shrouded in mist, and buildings loom through the dark, making this a very creepy picture!
Fans are now speculating what it all could mean on Harry Potter websites.
Newsround will be covering the launch from around the country on Friday night.
In that pic above it looks like Ron/Harry(either one of the two cant work out who is who), Hermione and Ginny. So where's the other person Harry or Ron???
It also looks like there is a death in hogwarts with the dark mark hanging over it? Could the person missing on the front be Ron and he has been killed by a death eater?
I hope not Ron is my fave character after Sirius

Just in case anyone out there hasn't read any of the other books and is planning on reading the half blood prince here's what you need to know so far
HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE

it ashame that siruis dies it would have been nice to see Harry move away from the dursleys
he never would have been able to move away even if sirius was alive because of the bind to his Aunt

I kno who dies, ive seen the book already, had a look at the last chapter, never read a HP book before so i have no idea who this person is but ive since found out who they are. As far as i know its a main character and people will be shocked i dunno though, but like i said ive seen the book, their massive lol dunno how you lot can read them! I wont spoil it for anyone though unless you wanna know lol

Same thing happened with the azkaban website....opened there months before it was here. Have you ever went onto the WB website for harry potter? It hasn't been updated for months i would even go as far to say maybe over a year whereas my friend from over in america says there's is updated almost daily

Isn't it funny how directors etc seem to interpret characters in one way and us "normal" people interpret something completely different.
I don't like the way they have sort of stuck it on his face though...

The Weasleys are the only people who i think the directors have it down to a t

I thought the same about Sirius - like you say, Gary Oldman was fantastic but not quite the looker I expected. I was in tears at the end of Order of the Pheonix book, but not quite so worried now when the film comes out - awful isn't it!!
I think they got the Dursleys rights aswell too.
Oh yeah the Dursley's are brilliant - but they aren't in this film neither is Mrs Weasley which i thought was a bit off. I cant imagine a HP film without Julie Walters in it
Is she not?? It won't be the same without her, she's a fantastic actress. I would have put Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid definitely, he's great too. How do you think they are going to portray the death though at the end?? Especially as it still has to be suitable for younger people (and me!! lol)
No she wasn't asked to be in it - she said she was quite dissappionted - dont blame her.
I dont know how they are going to do it. They are trying to make the film more adult, just like the books, so i think they will make it quite hard hitting (gets the tissues out)
I wonder what Voldemort is going to look like this time round?? He seems to be portrayed in books as good looking, and they achieved that with him as Tom Riddle, but what will be like as himself now I wonder - I still imagine him good looking though no idea what they will throw at us!!

They girl that plays Cho only lives up the road from my sister. She's had a lot of trouble with fans attacking her house and stuff all because she gets to kiss harry
Cho is as I imagined and Fleur too a bit, though aren't all of the females appearing to be attractive and the guys not so much!!

i know what you mean!
Honestly the front of is house is ruined and she is getting comments shouted out at her in the street.
I suppose because of the small mindedness of people, this is why most actors end up living in London as at least they don't have this sort of treatment aimed at them. Its a job at the end of the day :angry:

People seem to forget this and don't understand that kissing someone in real life and kissing someone for a movie etc are two completely different things altogether!!
This will probably sound awful, but if we're honest - Daniel isn't exactly the best looking guy in the world, yeah he's cute but if he didn't play the part of Harry, how many people would really be bothered about him - the guy who plays Draco is more attractive in my mind (I love his floppy blonde hair!!!)
