I think Mike is starting to show signs of his Alzeimers (sorry about spelling)now. Has anybody else noticed this. He seems to be forgetting things recently.

At first I thought that was just a slip of the tongue but it seems as it was the start of the build up to the much anticipated Alzheimer's storyline.

It's not anticipated by me. The best actor on the cobbles is leaving :(

I remember he called Penny Alma so it could be the start of the Alzheimer's storyline

I noticed that too, but a few episodes ago he was arranging to go for a drink and he was supposed to phone Frankie but he forgot. There have been odd occasions in the factory when he's said things like 'oh I forgot to do that" but I didn't really think much of it until I heard about the Alzheimers storyline

He was making Penny some eggs a while ago and i'm sure he forgot something then as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle this - its not a very common storyline in soaps is it, so will make a change and I expect with the writers and Johnny Briggs, it was be done very well.

Its been great how they have introduced it so well, hoping they keep the story growing at such a steady pace, make it so much more realistic

I think corrie and Jonny Briggs will do a really good job with this they. Their storylines arnt over with in a few weeks. It will be really sad though

its the art of a slow burning story line which only itv can do, take shelly and mike in corrie and debbie, and dianes cancer in e-dale, all are brilliant and well done
