Eastender Chrissie Watts locks lips with her new man just weeks after murdering her cheating husband. The scheming Queen Vic landlady shares the passionate kiss with gangland lackey Jake Moon after months of flirting.
The explosive scenes are to be screened on March 17.
I think they will make a great couple and even better it strengthens The Moons Vs The Mitchells future storylines

Personally, I thought the shannis storyline was pants. Hope they do better with this one.

Well yeah but I suppose I could forgive Chrissie as she's my fave character but if it was say Zoe or Sam or come to think of it anyone else then I'd hate them (Specailly Zoe cos she was mean to Dennis)
i think its a really good pairing cos they have loads of chemistry on screen! i can't wait till they actually get together and stop all the flirting! the sexual tension is too much!

not that much people were saying that chrissies nearly in her 40's but when she first came in to the square i heard she was only a 2 or 3 years older then sharon

It is I loved it last week though on Thusday when Chrissie stormed into the club Jake was lucky just to get away with an ear bashing the look in her eyes she could have lamped him one awwwwwwwwww and bless him when he changed the barrel and he was standing on her husband

I can't wait till Thursday the idea of Chrissie and Jake together is just great, they would make such a good couple he's always there when she's unhappy and he seems to be the only one that can really see it.

I'm loveing these two.
In soaps you either connect on screen or you dont and these two definately do. There is an obvious chemistry between them. What with Sharon and Dennis not on screen any more, I'm glad there is at least another current couple that have a spark.
However, I wonder how things will be when Jake learns that Chrissie was responsibal for Den's death though..........................

Hmm, well at least we learnt today that Chrissie is going to be 37 this Thursday! I would think that would probably make her about 5 years older than Jake - what do you reckon?

Its been confirmed that the Monn brothers will be leaving. I'm really not sure what the bosses are up to - it had better be good. I'm really sad to see Jake go. I felt for the first time in ages that the potential with him and Chrissie could be something really special and that EE could be on the up becaues of these two. They must be mad to get rid of him !!! Then again they manages to destroy the Shannis story so I dont know why I'm suprprised that they would manage to destry this story too.
I have to say I am no longer going to be able to really enjoy the Chrissie and Jake moments as I know its not going to lead anywhere. making a huge mistake, eastenders. There is no point them really returning afterwards though as ee don't reall want them.
enjoy the chemistry while you can as it will soon be no more.
I think it's really disapointing. I think Chrissie and Jake could have become a great team given the chance.

It does make it seem kind of pointless to get interested in their relationship which is a shame because it's really going to spoil their interaction for the viewers and it has already been very enjoyable to watch.

I know there now is very little point in getting excited about the thought of Jake and Chrissie , but I can't help it I seriously can't wait to see EE tonight because of them, they do have so much potential as a couple they have great chemistry and it really is a shame that it will never be anything long term, but I'm going to enjoy it while I can

Awww I have just watched eastenders and saw Chrissie and Jake,they look so sweet together and a ct like a proper couple.Shame Jake is leaving,I could see the relationship going far.
damn the chemistryyyy *shakes fist* i loved watching them, it made me smile but nooooo cos we know of the inevitable it was just like yeah, but it aint lasting.
Jake and Chrissie are fab, its obvious they like each other, specially when tina introduced herself to Jake and He said 'busy' that was brill,Tonites eppi was really good (part from the ferrarias) there should be more eppi's like that!!
I'm so gutted jake and danny are being axed, but maybe (Fingers crossed) John yorke and Kate Harwood will come to there senses and not axe them,
There is so much chemistry between Jake & Chrissie but the actors as well (Joel and Tracy-Ann) they obviously like workin to gether!!!,its such a shame to throw it down da pan .
