a Digital spy interview with Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy)

DS: Forum member Mrs Harman would like to know if you think there is much more mileage in Karl's and Susan's characters since their children have moved away?

AF: It's certainly a different experience for them both because it tends to open up the love lives more. What about Susan and Tom! Don't cut out the possibility of more children coming into their lives. Oh dear...that might have been a spoiler!

I think they just mean that they take in more children like Scott and Dylan!

it's not an old interview he has said what about susan & tom so maybe tom comes back, he also says more children in their lives meaning susan & tom. i think thats what he was saying.

No i think he was saying that without children in their lives they have lost spark, so they looked for it elsewhere, like with Tom and Izzy.

Maybe when karl and susan get back together they will foster more children, and even have younger children this time! :searchme:

because their character's are so much more interesting apart... plus Susan may still love Karl... but he left their marriage, moved in with Izzy, was having another baby which he didn't want with Susan and was so 'in love' with Izzy wanted to marry her... no matter how much she loves him how can she forgive what he's done?? could you??

If my ex-husband (if I had one) almost popped his clogs but rang me just before to say he loved me-yeah I probably could forgive and forget. I know he rang Izzy after-but he didnt say he loved her so I think he's realised what a anasty piece of work Izzy is and i want susan and karl back together.

u could just see from how susan reacted when he phoned her how much she still loved him also how much he loves her, i think if izzy hadnt of been preggers by 'karls baby' or should i say gus' he would of tried to win susan back ages ago.

Why should she forgive him... he destroyed her marriage and her life... she needs a new young hunky man... some who'll treat her right... NOT karl... too LITTLE too LATE

Lets not forget that Karl had a previous affair, and Susan took him back then... However, Susan has now had another relationship, too, so perhaps it is just too late for them? Too much water under the bridge etc

well i know karl gets back with izzy again but whether or not he gets back together with Susan or not i dunno.

their 'mor echildren' part could tie in with the new family that joins the street!
