Emmerdale Spoilers for the week of the 6th-11th March 2005

Sunday 6th March 2005 @ 7.00pm
Being married to a girl with what appears to be little or no personality would drive you crazy and this seems to be the case for Paddy. Though 70s style Viv tried it on with him he turned her down but as he confides in Marlon it soon becomes apparent he was tempted which shows the first symptoms of a marriage that’s crashed but thankfully not burned…yet. But it could do with the typical soap coincidences coming into play simple Emily invites her over for dinner oblivious to the previous nights one-sided shenanigans.

Elsewhere the slippery duo that is Val and Pollard continue desperately to make some money and build up Pollard’s public image (did he even have a slightly worthy public image?) The Evening Paper prints a ‘positive’ piece about Pollard. Maybe this is a change for our leathery lothario?

Steph is desperate to get into her father’s life. That much has been obvious for a good while now. Following round almost like a delirious stalker. Well tonight in the absence of Shelly the boa constrictor makes her move and says she’s sorry. Well if you’d nearly been murdered, thought the love of your life had been murdered and all by your very own daughter, you’d probably never forgive them but this is Alan Turner and just to infuriate his girlfriend feels ‘sympathetic’ towards his daughter. Coincidences being coincidences means Shelly has to see this and be infuriated. Which she does.

Monday 7th March 2005 @ 7pm
With the previous nights events fully in mind Paddy can’t stand to help 70s style Viv set up the Café when Emily-simple-girl asks him. (Yet more coincidences!) And instead gets Marlon to do it. You can just imagine the spark!

Sadie is still not willing to give up her place at the Kings and as Jimmy ignores her things don’t look fantastic. Sadie though tells schizophrenic-lesbian-vet Zoë that she’s willing to play the waiting game.

Elsewhere its times of happiness for Nicola as she gets the contract to clean Pollards factory! Yay for Nicola! She’s still desperate to expand and wants to set a date for the marriage with Simon. Talk about to many changes at once! Ooh and are Shell gets a job!

Tuesday 8th March 2005 @ 7pm
Emily-simple-girl finally picks up on the tension between Paddy and 70s style Viv and in her biggest brainwave tricks them to come face to face and shake hands. They’re feeling the vibes and 70s mania could yet take hold!

Ahhh, poor Shelly hasn’t had the best luck of late being locked in a cellar, being thrown on a moor in the middle of nowhere and being bullied by your ‘best friend’ all through your life. But, that’s nothing compared to bossy-braces Nicola. Poor Shell is finding it difficult to take so many orders and knowing Shelly’s full time fragile mental state; Shell won’t be in a job for much loner!
Val- the women that proves that having a face-lift doesn’t always work is having a few problems today. She can’t shift a painting and as she’s part of a slippery duo with Pollard that means we need an insurance scam and a fire to be added to this slippery mixture!

Wednesday 9th March 2005 @ 7pm
Bossy-braces Nicola is having yet more issues today. She’s failed to set a date for the weeding and is furious. Hell hath no fury like Nicola scorned as the Cleaning Team takes the full whack of her rage. Laurel goosy-gander (usually quiet) stands up to Nicola (ahh she’s brimming with confidence now!). What will Bossy-braces do?

Slithery Steph is still trying to slip back in to Williams/Turner brigade. Her next bright idea is to give away beauty equipment to Shell and Turner. It’s actually a proven way to get back in a family if you give them beauty equipment. Shell says no, Turner says yes (what would Turner want to do with beauty equipment?) Poor Shell I upset again. Will the misery ever stop?

Elsewhere Val ‘my-face-lift-didn’t-work’ Lambert is out charming antique dealers and Pollards having trouble getting Insurance cover…

Thursday 10th March 2005 @ 7pm
Steph’s plan takes another form tonight. She buys Turner and Shell a meal (where is she getting all this money from?) Turner being the fool that he is, doesn’t tell shelly its from Steph till they’ve finished. She predictably goes into neurotic cat mode and feels upset again-again-again.

Ashley is desperate to stay in the village, he thinks that the Demon-Bishop wants to move him to a new Parish so in his infinite wisdom decides to set up a drama group but in the process he starts to ignore Laurel goosy-gander…

In the next part of the evil twosome’s plan, Val helps Pollard set up an exhibition. Val wants publicity, Pollard doesn’t, and do you see Val listening?

Friday 11th March 2005 @ 7pm
Shell wants to go to Spain…again. Turner doesn’t want to leave Steph (the daughter who tried to murder him.) I see an ultimatum coming on…

Glynis turns up again tonight. (How many appearances can you make without being a permanent character?) She senses there might be going on between Pollard and Val. Pollard plays this down but knowing the pair of them, something out of place is bound to be said, eventually…

Elsewhere Farmer Andy clashes with lazy-posh-boy Max. They both want her but can either have her?
