Nell Feeney-Connor (Janelle) is Shane Connors (Joe Scully) wife in real life. I wonder how he feels that his wife is starring in the show he was sacked from.

that seems strange!! i wouldnt have thought that he would be at al happy with his wife being in neighbours!! espeically as there is rumoured to me lots of bad feeling still!

They've been married since 1995, they met on the set of some show called Phoenix.

sorry to sound thick, but what did the actor allegedly get sacked for ! It hought he had just left the show :hmm:

It doesn't say! Everywhere you read says he was sacked but it never says what for! this is from IMDB: As of October 2003, he lost his job on the Australian soap "Neighbours" where he has played Joe Scully for 4 years. He arrived for work on a Monday morning and was told by the show's executives that his contract was being terminated with immediate effect, even though there was months to run. The reason why has not been disclosed.

shane conner the actor who played joe is dating a unknown british tv presenter and has been for some years. so maybe his wife is just getting her own back

i didnt like how they god rid of joe, why did they not just bring in another actor to play him? I find it quite hard to beleive he'd disappear to the country just after oscar was born, considering he wanted a new baby too! and Joe and Lynn always seems so good together!

i've heard different rumours that he got sacked for snorting cocaine on set and that he got sacked for being drunk on set am not sure if there true though
