New celeb love Island starts tonight.. does anyone think it will be any good???

The six girl contestants are Liz McClarnon, Abi Titmuss, Judy Shekoni, Jayne Middlemiss, Rebecca Loos and Isabella Hervey.
On the boys' side are Paul Danan, Michael Greco, Lee Sharpe, Du'aine Ladejo, Calum Best and Fran Cosgrave.
I cant stand Abi Titmuss and Rebecca Loos so might give it a miss.
Is it like a match making show to get couples together?

I always get hooked on BB - i always put a bet on for the winner at the start last year i won with Nadia, and Bez in the Celebrity BB :cheer:

Is it just me or is Paul acting like he's on something? lol! I don't believe that they'll put this up against BB. There's no WAY because I would think that essentially, they've got the same target audience. I can't believe it's 5 weeks either.
Just another thought, but what happened to Simon Webbe from Blue and that model Jacki Degg who was supposed to be in it? Why the they get swapped for Duane & Lady IH?

Poor old Jayne, getting all stressed out because Lee was having a flirt with Abi. Don't get me wrong, I think that Abi was a bit mean, she knew exactly what she was doing, but I think that maybe Jayne did go a bit over the top?
Also, did anyone see 'The seamonster' film on Love Island Aftersun last night? I thought that was SOOO funny!

The programme is absolute rot! They make Abi Titmus look so fit in the papers and magazines, but look at her on there, ugly, overweight.....and lacks any personality what so ever.
All nobodies with nothing better to do.
They don't even do any tasks. They laze about on an extremely beautiful island.
The farm is much better.

I felt so sorry for jayne when she walked into the bedroom and they started bitching about her. did you hear abi "whats her problem" and lee went "shes the one with the problem". I really wanted Jayne and Lee to be a couple and I think that if they are both left nearer the end of the competition, something might still happen. I think maybe Lee still wants to keep his options open with the other girls.
i really thought that lee was giving off signs that he fancied jayne and so obviosly did she so i was really surprised when he said he didnt. i think that maybe nearer the end something will happen between them!

Less than 2 million viewers tuned in for ITV's latest celebrity-reality show on Saturday, according to early figures.
Celebrity Love Island managed a disastrous average of just 1.97 million - a 9.9% share of the available audience - between 10.15pm and 11.15pm, a series low and well below ITV1's usual ratings for the slot.
ITV is now expected to cut short the programme's 5-week run, or move it towards the tail of primetime for the final few weeks.
The biggest draw on Saturday was the closing moments of the FA Cup Final, seen by 11.97 million (66.4%) on BBC One at 5.15pm. The channel also enjoyed predictable success with the Eurovision Song Contest, which averaged 7.95 million (38.7%) between 8pm and 11.20pm.
ITV1 managed a respectable defence, however, with an average of 3.84 million (20.1%) tuning in for the premiere of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
Meanwhile, an earlier timeslot for Doctor Who saw its ratings fall slightly to an average of 6.56 million (35%) at 6.30pm.
The live final of Hit Me Baby One More Time failed to pull in the punters with just 3.2 million (15.2%) tuning in to ITV1 between 9pm and 10.15pm.
Celebrity Love Island hosts Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook are feuding because Kielty informed viewers that Kelly used to date Paul Danan, a contestant on the reality series.
Brook was apparently furious after Kielty told viewers about their past. Once the cameras were switched off, Kelly complained, "You shouldn't have gone there - what did you say that for?"
A source told the Sunday Mirror, "You could almost see the steam coming out of her ears. She went red in the face and just bellowed at Patrick. She was desperate to put him in his place."
Kelly has also become irritated by Patrick's habit of ad-libbing, while she prefers to read from the autocue.
"Kelly looks fantastic and producers had hoped for a real spark between her and Patrick," the source added. "But whereas he likes to ad-lib and joke, she is glued to the autocue and wooden in her delivery.
"The relationship soured after the Paul Danan jibe. In rehearsals they'd been joking about it so he thought she wouldn't mind him having a laugh on air but couldn't believe it when the cameras stopped. She went ballistic and went all Hollywood luvvie on him."

Celebrity Love Island producers attended a crisis meeting yesterday as they discussed how to save the ITV1 reality series, according to The Mirror.
As consultant producer, the show's host Kelly Brook was also asked to sit through the three-hour meeting.
"Everyone on the crew knows the celebrities just aren't performing - they're not doing enough," a source told the newspaper.
"The idea of putting two young celebs together in the Love Shack turned into the most boring television ever seen, because Lady Isabella Hervey laid on her back all day. She looked like a bronzed corpse.
"The producers called their whole team together to hammer out ways of breathing new life into the show and forcing the celebrities to do more entertaining things. At the moment, it just looks like these people are treating the show as a free holiday."
The newspaper claims that ITV may be considering axing the show if it fails to improve in the next two weeks.
The source added, "Everyone's worried it will go the same way as Celebrity Wrestling if it doesn't improve."

Patrick is great as a host, really funny. It is bad tv but i'm hooked at the moment. Abi really is jealous Rebecca and has the hots for Calum. She loves attention and thats why she is always falling out of her bikini. I hope she is voted out soon because maybe then other couples might hook up. I was hoping for Jayne and Lee but Abi ruined it and Lee is a plonker. The tasks are a bit awful like guessing each others weight and arranging them in order of good looking btw i think Abi is worst looking in there. I think all the guys wanted Rebecca but she is only interested in Calum. Isabella has the hots for Calum but i don't see them hooking up in there maybe after the show. Michael hates Abi but i want these two to be voted into the love shack as their is a thin line between love and hate.

Well the winners are Fran Cosgrave (ex of Natasha Hamilton) and TV presenter Jayne Middlemiss. It would've been a bit of a blow for Fran if he'd lost in his 2nd reality tv show. I was happy that Fran won but i would have liken Liz to have won with him the crybaby Jayne didnt deserve to win
But I bet if they'd shown the others in the beach hut more, there would have been more crying from them - and look at Abi, how often was she "crying", though I think it was more for attention from anyone that was offering it more than anything else. They really tried to give Jane bad coverage. Just the same as we saw more of Liz on the little bits from throughout the 5 weeks than we have in the entire series. Totally biased coverage towards certain people, and more so towards Abi but then they did pay her £100K to appear!!!!

Come on get a gripI agree with that bit, a bit stupid especially as its pretty obvious if you say something like that and react in that way, the first thing itv will do is show it, but there was a hell of a lot of editing going on, like the clip they showed Abi when she left, the last thing she saw of Jane was when she said she was going to punch her lights in, which was in the first week, not the last one.
Didn't she say it again to her just before she left during the whole "If you hurt my BROTHER" rubbish?????
Don't think so, she definitely said to Lee though, but the clip they showed Abi was the original one at the time when Lee & Abi were have a laugh in the bedroom and Jane walked out. They made it seem like Jane had said it more recently, even though they had sort of cleared the air about it all the previous day.
Oh well if they done that then i dont agree with it but abi will find out when it was said wont she?

Thats ok - like you say, shes an adult and should get over it.......Lee was honest with her on the boat trip and before that so she should have accepted it and not, like you, keep harping on about it. I thought she lightened up a fair bit, but I bet the after show party was interesting. Hope its made clear to Abi when Jane did actually say it though cause otherwise they are making it seem a completely different situtation to what it actually is!

I know what you mean. I'm glad liz got to the final four because i personally wouldnt have known she was there as the others were all playing games to win if you know what i mean. Kat xxx
She was one of the only ones that wasn't playing a game, I think, and was herself. The editing doesn't help though, cause the we only saw what they wanted us to see. Though they do have to make the show as interesting as possible so......
yes she was. i generally think that she really was herself because she had like highs and lows such as she was upset with the decider about weight which i thought was really hard on her and i think if it was one of the other contestants they would have played it for all its worth. I really admire her as she did some difficult things such as climbing up that mast when she could have cried and things
Extremely brave - you wouldn't have caught me climbing up to the crows nest!! And the weight thing was awful. She looks fantastic and when Michael Greco said, "I knew Liz was heavier than Abi"....that would upset anyone, but she dealt with it in her own way, without trying to get everyone to rally around her.
