Vicky is posting about the murder of Jane on the university forum
"On the night of Friday August 31st 2007 Jane Dawson (my best friend) who was a major part of the Performing Arts department was murdered in her own home, police are currently questioning all suspects and are looking for any key witnesses, this is a very sad time for all that were close to Jane so if anyone heard or saw anything that night please let one of us know so we can start grieving for Jane which while this killer is still free we are not currently able to do"

Bryan reads about Jane's murder in the newspaper, and after a breif panick whipes his hard drive.
Not content with whiping the hard drive, Bryan takes his computer out into the back garden and smashes it up with a hammer.
Debs is trying to call Vicky for the 25ths time today, after hearing her answerphone again he leaves a message....

PB closed the shop for the morning, to spend the time making important phone calls...and reading through every newspaper in the shop about the murder.
In the afternoon returns to the normal routine of opening the shop, and tries to engage in conversation with some of Jane's friends (they are very guarded in what they divulge), who have popped in for the newspapers/milk etc...
