'Coronation Street' star Debra Stephenson's told Radio 1 she's been approached about reprising her role as psychotic con Shell Dockley in 'Bad Girls'.

At the moment she's still playing Weatherfield wife Frankie Baldwin and is about to release an album off the back of her appearance in 'Comic Relief Does Fame Academy'.

Shell was shipped off to a psychiatric secure unit and Debra admits its tempting to go back but she's just not sure:

"Well you know, I never say never. It would be worthwhile if it was to put one over on Fenner."

"I'm pretty happy where I am just now. They're really good there and they said the doors always open."

"I think they had some interesting ideas if I had been allowed to go back, but you really can't be in too many places at once."

I thought that the storyline where fenner gets killed has already been done

I don't think this will happen in the forseeable future as Debra Stevenson has said she is happy in her role as Frankie Baldwin and has some brilliant storylines coming up.

Just heard about this on Badgirlsonline MB, it would be so great if Debs returns 2 Bad Girls, even if it was 4 one episode, im such a huge fan of Debras, love her in Corrie as well. But if the rumours of Fenner dying, i cant see theres any reason 4 Shell 2 return! It would be great 2 c Shell back in Larkhall

maybe shes already filmed an episode or two for the seasons finale but keeping it underwraps maybe she kills fenner you never know

That would be so god if that was the case, but Shed would have 2 be extremely discrite, and if storylines of soaps get out then im not sure if it would be possible for a drama 2 keep it under wraps. But it is Shed Productions, and they do come up with some good un-predictable storylines

Shed did say there would be a huge cliff-hanger, this could be it! it would be good 4 Sheds ratings, the 1st eps ratings were really poor compared 2 last years first ep, it had the highest ratings out of the other TV shows on Tuesday tho, but just no way near 2 what they have been

in the last series i think, she had the baby and told Fenner she wouldn't let him pimp her anymore, and collin came in desperte for 'some' and nearly attacked Shel so Fenner got him off the hook by saying Colin was trying to get Shel off her baby as she was trying to kill it!!!! NOT TRUE and she was shipped to a psychiatric secure unit.
