Does anybody know why Kane ends up in court and hence why him and Kirsty go on the run together

Im not entirely sure on this one but I think it might be something to do with Kane's father who has framed him for something. Not 100% sure if thats correct though!

kirsty and kane leave together before Kirsty had had the baby i think she must be about five months as when they leave togther they hear the baby kick for the first time,is it true that kane will come back as a recurring character like will and Gypsy?

Kane and Kirsty do leave she is rushed to hospital with just a scare they leave when she is about 5 mths gone, Kanes father tried to frame him for a burglary.
