What have been your sporting highlights of 2006. Has anything stuck out for you. What has been the best sporting moments of 2006.

anything, thigs you have acheived plus watching sport. FRo me it is competing in the 24 hour sailing charity race and watch Munster lift the heineken cup.

erm for me its getting a B in my tap exam in dance.

For me it was Michael Schumacher last race.. shows that man finished before he became bad.. he ruled that race!!!

Europe winning the Ryder Cup
Ireland winning the Triple Crown
Northern Ireland 3 Spain 2

Not that Im biased or anything. I was going to mention the superb victory against England but that was in September 2005:angel:

lol, i forgot about the triple crown how is that possible. anc i call myself a Ireland fan. Next year we will go one better and go for that grand slam.

The FA cup getting as far as we did, as a City fan the quarter final was quite a step for us.

I remember Shelley Rudman getting her silver medal for the skeleton at the winter olympics. There haven't been two many sporting acheivements this year as previous.
Oh and i totally forgot that England Ladies have qualified for China 07!!!!!!

they did well didnt they. I tink they should change it to Arsenal Ladies as its pretty much there team.

There are still the odd few Everton girls, Unitt and Williams, and then theres Chapman from Charlton too. But most of them are Arsernal.

Yankee and Smith, plus Lianne Sanderson is quite good as well there all arsenal.
I say the highlights ofArsenal ladies knocking out Stockport Ladies in the womans cup. There really good player. s

Yeah got to agree with you there, Sanderson is on fire at the mo and Smith is probably the best player in the womens game. I think Sue Smith is doing well at leeds too.

shes quite old isnt she. I remember seeing her in the FA cup final last year.
