Is making an guest appearence, of a strict B&B owner Mrs G,

"Julie's part is a small one, but there's no doubt that it'll be memorable." gushes a Chester insider

We can reveal that the storyline will see Julie's stern character driven mad by the troublesome Dean/Osbourne clan, who causes chaos when they descend on her premises.

There will be an exclusive Julie Goodyear interview in the next issue

Oh dear, I wouldn't wish Julie Goodyear on even Hollyoaks.

I hope she won't be strutting around with her cigarette holder, dressed up like a leopard like she was in Corrie.

Just read Inside Soap, her name will be Mrs Temple, not Mrs G

There is a picture of her on The Sun's website, dressed up in a very shocking fluffy jumper !!

Julie Goodyear Makes Special Guest Appearence In Hollyoaks

Julie Goodyear makes a special guest appearance in Hollyoaks this week as the larger than life B & B landlady Mrs Temple (Friday, October 27th, 6.30pm C4).

The Homely Private Hotel is far from homely and the Osbornes are disgusted when they turn up at the dilapidated bed and breakfast. They're forced to lower their standards when Jack (Jimmy McKenna) is too tight fisted to stump up the cash for a proper hotel.

Julie's character Mrs Temple makes their life a misery with her 9pm curfew and strict rules. She also takes a shine to Jake (Kevin Sacre) who squirms under her unwanted attentions.

Kevin Sacre, who plays Jake Dean, comments: “It was fantastic to work with Julie and she did an amazing job. She's a true professional and a soap legend, it was an honour to be on set with her.”

What an industrial hairdryer?

Maybe Alec Gilroy will turn up suddenly during the episode, seeking her whereabouts!

I didn't like it. I've never liked Julie Goodyear.
I don't know WHAT that ridiculous accent was supposed to be.
There's a load of stuff about her in The Mirror at the mo. Extracts from her autobiography. One particularly fascinating article is about 'the day she became a lesbian'. Desperate much?
