Just thought I would share my news.. Got a mail this morning to say that I got through to the next round of competition winner to get tickets to the Soap awards in May.. Did anyone else on the boards get the same email??

Usually they only let you have between 2 & 4 they won't give out more than that! :)

Just got my phonecall now! Im well excited, i got 3 tickets one for me, one for my mate and one for my mum because im under 16 (just) so i need an adult, but shes not complaining as she loves the soaps too! What do we do when we're there?

Starts at 7.30 according to mail but they said to get there by 4.30 as it is first come first serve and even if you have tickets you might not get in

Mine didn't start that late last time, On my ticket from last year it says doors open at 4.30pm, but they didn't it was later anyway i got down there for about 2ish and there was already a small que?!

you are right.. sorry meant to say 17 but put 7... you would be have to be there really early. Mind you May is not so bad so it might be warm enough to wait outside

You don't, the british soap awards red carpet tickets, are just tickets for standing on the red, tis actually purple carpet, you odn't get to go in, only the actors/actresses and people who work with/on the show get to go in.

Urm get there early, and try to stand in front of the TV crew :p as you walk in if you are early enough go right to the far end and stand in front of the TV crews, that way you will be shown on Paul O grady and this morning :p Last year i stood in front of the picture people, but i would rather be quickly shown on telly!
Urmm you probably won't have time to get any photos with the stars, so get as many as you can of them, and if you ask them to smile for you they most probably will do just be loud!

It would be good to see all the old faces like Shane Richie, Jessie Wallace, Nigel Harman, Tracy-Ann Oberman etc. Because they're all nominated for awards!
Yeh if you are at the front of the queue then you have more chance of being at the front of the crowd, although like i said people do push, not in a mean way and i ended up near enough the front and i was at the back to begin with :angel:
And although Nigel, Shane, Jessie and Tracy are all nominated they might not go as they no longer work at 'enders and don't have to go, but because they are nominated they is a chance they will! :)

Yeh they might, who knows! All standing i am afraid unless you sit down on the tiered steps at the back, but then you have no chance of getting autographs/pictures!

if it was to actually get in then i would have gone but if its only to stand outside i didnt see the point even though you can get photos and auto's theres a chance you wont get in or get any
You are guaranteed pictures and autographs!Last year nearly everyone stopped apart from 3 (well 3 i noticed anyway) and pictures well you just hold down the button :p x Still no email i take it i ain't goin this year then :( Would of loved to!

well im leaving Southampton at about 12 to ensure i get there on time and to get there early just in case we get lost lol! They only let in a limited number of people in! The oversell tickets to ensure a full crowd! So going to have to get there extra early lol!

I am so so so so so jealous of u guys in the UK getting these cool mags, they just do not sell them here in Holland,, I salivate when I see all these neat pictures that you guys took or end up being in the soap mags,, that is so darn cool !!!!!!!!!!!( I should stand up and start singing RULE BRITTANA lol)
