Hello everyone, we are back in the studio here with our Thirteenth evictee Beth, to get her opinion on life in the Big Brother House, and what she thought of her fellow House mates.


Did you enjoy your time in the house?

Yeah I had a fab time in the house. It was different to what I expected and there was so much going on from one day to the next

What would you say were your best bits in the house?

My best bits? was I not all good???
Seriously loved the pillow fight in the pool and playing twister the other night was great.. it was our own entertainment. I loved all the little games we played and "I never"! we learnt so much about each other that day

What housemates do you feel you connected with?

Without a doubt kyle, lou and odessa. it wasnt the same after she left. I loved nathan but he didnt last long. I have fun with most of them although laurence gave me the creeps

And in the opposite who didn’t you feel you made a connection with?

I think that is obvious. I hated zach, he came in all flirty and i go bite his bum and i get a warning. wasn't fond of dan either and did not trust Leccy at all. knew there was something up with that girl

Where you attracted to any of your fellow housemates?

noel edmonds, does he count as a house mate :rotfl: There was some very good looking guys in that house but I am 70 I know my boundary and what is deemed going beyond that

Did you have a game plan ?

No, none at all, I just went in to be myself. to be honest I didn't think i would last this long. Tonight I saw kyle and lou back together and it was then I decided that they needed the money more than me so I got myself evicted so that one of them can win and share the cash

Would you have behaved differently if you went back in?

Not at all, it was fun, I achieved everything I had to. I am 70 and loving life, I want just to show other people life doesn't stop at any age and you can be whoever you want to be

Who do you want to win Sbbb 2006?

Either one of the two that are in there. Lou probably deserves it more, she has had so much thrown at her. she is only 19 and has had to cope with so much. Kyle on the other hand is my sweetie and i love him dearly so I want him to win too.. Can't they both win?

If you could do it all again, would you?

Yeah, damn right i would. there was an amazing mix of people in the house. I had my 70th in there and even if lucas was an ass about it, he was still a good guy underneath. I spent 8 great weeks meeting lots of new people. If I didn't do this I would never have met Odessa, kyle or lou so yeah I would do it again

What would have been the most outrageous thing you would have done to win?

Again it would be noel edmuns!! :rotfl: I think I would have done anything if I was dared too. I was just me and I can't be anyone different.

Also If you did do it all again, would you change anything and if so what?

I would have followed my gut. I was sure there was something not right about Leccy and I should have kept Kyle away from her. I would have spent more time grilling Dan so he would never have hurt Lou and most I all, I would never have sent Odessa to the bedroom on my birthday, that is the thing I regret the most

Well everyone I know your probably dying to know who Beth actually was, so let’s do a few question’s with that person.

What made you decide to apply for Soapboards Big Brother?

[Siobhan]

I think they know who I am now and already suspected anyway. I applied because I was watching Celeb BB and it was fun so I thought I would have a laugh. I never watch the other big brothers but I knew the general Idea

Did you have a game plan ?

[Siobhan]

no, none. When I found out I was going to be Beth I thought, Oh my god, this old woman is going to be out in week 1. Then when everyone thought I was Jodi, i tried to post like her but then I messed up by logging in as myself one night...

Would you recommend it to other people if we did it again?

[Siobhan]

Yeah I would recommend anyone to do it but be warned you have to be thick skinned. You become very attached to the character and anything said in the nomination room might upset you. I got really upset when I saw Beth been nominated, you do get attached. I was upset when Odessa/Kath left and I feel sad now leaving lou and kyle behind. How sad is that?

Did you have a good time ?

Yeah I did.. I am going to miss Beth. I was so hard at work on the two machines. I had fun with beth, I wanted her to be a cross between Kathy burke on Gimme gimme gimme and Mo Harris from Eastenders. I tried flirting with the younger guys but it even felt weird for me because of the age gap

Just wanted to say a big thanks to bry and Dawn for letting me be Beth. it was my decision to leave the house and it was a suprise to both of them.. Keep up the good work you two, it was a brilliant game and time for me :cheer::cheer:

I was 70.. I really didn't know how to play here so I thought about a woman I know who is 75 and she loves life so much, but had a great big heart and was a bit of a softie.. I loved playing her then. I had to be nosy all the time and ask so many question, that is what old women do :rotfl:

Too right!! YOu had it really hard being a 70 year old... My charcter was only 2 years older than me, so i just acted like all my guy mates. But a 70 year old?! I would have given up after a week!
