Apparently Kerry Catona has begged coronation street bosses to give her a part in the itv soap, but they turned her down and told her that she was not really what they were looking for at the moment for the show. Heard it on my local radio station. :)

I doubt that she begged! Maybe her agent got in touch with the producers and asked whether there were any parts coming up.
