Am I the only one who thinks he is a terrible actor? When I first heard that Billie Piper was in Dr. Who, I was sure that she was going to be terrible but now that I've watched it, I think that she is OK and he (CE) is crap!

Does anyone else agree or am I on my own?! :searchme:

I think he's a fabulous actor - really bought Doctor Who alive.

I've heard alot of people saying how great he is and I almost didn't post this thread incase people started yelling at me!

I think he is a bit wooden, like Dan Radcliffe in the HP films

I know what you mean Osiris, sometime the broad grin seems to be a substitute for real emotion, acting even. In the Dalek episode he seemed to improve a bit, though. When he though that Rose was dead he was excellant.

I do think that Rose's mascara could probably get a job all on it's own in some wildlife programme specialising in spiders!

.:Kitz:.

I think he is a fantastic actor - he's the only reason I'm watching Dr Who - I've loved a lot of the things he's done.

I think the broad grin referred to in place of emotion is possibly down to the fact that I don't think the doctor is meant to feel emotion - I might be wrong but maybe any Dr Who fans can keep me right on that one.

Anyhow, I think he's a brilliant actor!
