Dawn accuses Scott of setting her up
Airs Sunday, March 19 2006 at 19:00 on ITV1


Viv tells Rodney she is convinced that it was Kelly who snitched on Dawn. Hurt that Rodney believes the gossip, Kelly reveals the truth that Scott is the grass.

As an angry Dawn approaches Kelly, a chivalrous Rodney steps in and puts Scott’s name in the frame. At first Dawn is doubtful but she slowly realises the truth. Fired up, she heads after Scott followed by Viv, Jo, Bob, Jamie and Kelly.

How will Scott react to the Dawn’s accusations and how will the rest of his family feel when the reality of how low Scott has sunk hits home?

Katie’s mum Caroline arrives at the hospital and although at first it is awkward between the estranged mother and daughter, they are soon united in grief. As Caroline talks of her new life in Greece how will Katie cope with the reality of the distance between her and her only parent?

Meanwhile, Noreen is horrified to read that the Hotten Courier has depicted her unfavourably, ripping into her appearance. Upset, she pulls out of the election, leaving Val to make a decision.

Katie is allowed to leave hospital

Katie is given the all-clear by the hospital and is free to leave the next day. Her mother is confident that Katie will love her new life in Greece, however, both Andy and Chas notice Katie is hesitant.

Chas twigs that Katie’s resistance is because she still has feelings for Andy, but warns her against revisiting the past and insists that a fresh start in Greece is just what she needs. With Chas’ words ringing in her ears, will Katie choose a new life in Greece or will she take Andy up on his offer to stay with him in Emmerdale?

Over at the Dingles, Alice tells Zak of Sam’s wish to be more independent, but admits that if they left the homestead they would miss the family’s help with Samson. As a compromise the Dingles set about changing Sam and Alice’s room into a self-contained bedsit.

Meanwhile, Dawn can’t believe that Scott has the nerve to show his face in the village. Scott smugly asserts that he’ll be around to see her go down.

Daz celebrates his birthday

Daz is chuffed when he finds out Katie is heading to Greece with her mother.

Andy is feeling glum and asks Carl to pass on a card to Katie. Sensing Andy’s upset, Carl advises him that if you really care for someone you should fight for them. Andy decides to pay Katie another visit and is thrilled when she states that she is going to take him up on his offer.

Back at Butler’s Farm, Daz is celebrating his birthday - but how will he react when Andy returns home with Katie?

Over at Home Farm, Tom’s friend Helen tries to set up Matthew with her daughter Grace and suggests that they should get together. Matthew sees through the plan, but after a pep talk from Carl he agrees to let them try whatever they want. Will Tom and Helen succeed in pushing the pair together?

Elsewhere, Sam formally invites the Dingles to dinner in the cramped bedsit. He proudly serves up his spaghetti, but will the Dingles dinner party be a success or a culinary disaster?

Carl and Matt are suspicious of Jimmy

Jimmy takes builder Ion to the Woolpack and as Martin overhears Ion’s foreign accent, he tells Louise that he’s worried that the Kings are up to something.

Later Louise quizzes Ion and when Jimmy notices, he makes it clear to Ion not to speak to her again. However, Jimmy’s reaction confirms Martin’s suspicions that the builders are working in the country illegally.

As Matthew catches Jimmy trying to hire new labour he realises what has happened and orders his brother to clear the site and all evidence of the foreign workers. And when Martin pays a visit to The King’s has the evidence been hidden in time?

Elsewhere, Alice tells Sam that she wants Samson to feel settled and suggests they get married as soon as possible. Alice sees a poster for a fair in April and decides that it will be the perfect place to hold the reception. How will a reluctant Sam cope as Alice and the rest of the Dingles begin to make plans for the wedding?

Sadie's wedding day dawns

The day of Sadie’s wedding arrives and the blushing bride prepares for her big day.

Meanwhile, Matthew is still brooding over the invitation and he suddenly jumps up and tells Tom, Jimmy and Carl that he has a wedding to go to. They can hardly believe that Sadie is getting married again and when Matthew reveals his plans to stop her, Tom makes it clear that if Matthew chooses Sadie he will lose control of the firm. Matthew dashes off, but will he get to the church in time?

Elsewhere, Debbie is angry at seeing Andy and Katie together and Jasmine comforts her as she breaks down. Ashley watches on and can’t help but feel concerned that the pair are becoming too close for comfort.

Matt races to the church
Airs Friday, March 24 2006 at 19:00 on ITV1


Matthew desperately races to the church to try and stop Sadie’s wedding. Tom, Jimmy and Carl follow in hot pursuit but when they arrive at the church there is no sign of Matthew. Has Matthew changed his mind? Will Matthew make it to the church to stop her or will Sadie become Mrs Sinclair?

Meanwhile, Ashley confides in Laurel that he thinks Jasmine and Debbie’s relationship is a bit strong and reveals that he believes that they are becoming more than friends. Debbie and Jasmine cotton on to the fact that people think they are lesbians, and when Cain makes a dig, Debbie tries to shock him by gripping a stunned Jasmine’s face and snogging her!

Elsewhere, Katie and Andy visit Jack and Diane and Andy is shocked to find that Daz has moved in to Annie’s Cottage for good. Daz gives Andy an ultimatum – him or Katie. Will Andy choose his wife over his brother?

I thought benefit fraud was illegal? Why is it in Soaps that if you report someone for it you are the villain rather than the person who is claiming money as well as getting cash in hand?

Scott only reported Dawn for revenge. Dawn is only trying to make ends meet.

So? she shouldnt be doing it and is ripping off the people who actually go out and work! Good on scott whatever the reason!
