View Full Version : Sequel To Deception - Moving On
In Deception for those who may not remember all the details
Kerrie King arrives in the Square as a mate of Dennis's who is planning on ripping off her husband Kerrie is also Johnny Allen's daughter and also set her husband up on an arson charge as well. Kerrie struggled to deal with the guilt and attempted suicide but she failed and lives again and she was also having an affair with her husband's brother Noah who have now set up home together in Albert Square. Jake and Chrissie are together and early into the relationship Chrissie falls pregnant neither are sure whether they want the baby until Chrissie takes a tumble down the stairs both mum and baby are fine and a year later they have a beautiful five month old daughter Lia Moon. Johnny is marrying long term lover Tina and Dennis who eight months previously went to America to be with Sharon is on his way back WITH Sharon. Can't think of anything else If any queries about what happened just ask

One Year Later
Chrissie and Jake were sat at the breakfast table in the Kitchen in the Queen Vic
Chrissie- what are you up to today?
Jake- now that would be telling
Chrissie- Jake Moon your rubbish at keeping secrets please
Jake- this secret I am keeping
Chrissie got up and placed her plate in the sink
She heard him get up
Jake wrapped his arms around her waist
Jake- I was thinking tomorrow as it’s your birthday I’d get Alfie to baby-sit and we can have some you and me time
Chrissie- yeah that would be nice
He kissed her neck
Chrissie- down boy
Jake grinned and kissed her lightly on the lips
The screams of their young baby crying broke them apart
Jake- I’ll go you go and set up downstairs
Chrissie- thanks what would I do without you
Jake walked into his and Chrissie’s bedroom and scooped up the baby in his arms
Chrissie watched him from the hallway smiling she was lucky but even when she was this happy there was still a dark cloud hanging over her hanging over this pub
She shook her head and made her way down the steps

She stormed down the stairs
Noah- I hope you come back in a better mood
Kerrie- oh go and play in the traffic
She grabbed her coat and stormed out the house
Kerrie made her way over to her dad’s house
She knocked loudly and Ruby answered
Kerrie walked in
Ruby- are you all right
Kerrie- marvellous where’s dad
Ruby- kitchen
She stormed in
Johnny- and a good morning to you Kerrie
Kerrie- is it
She sat herself down and helped herself to some toast
Johnny- what’s Noah done
Kerrie- he hated the colour of the bedroom
Johnny- is that it
Kerrie- isn’t that enough
Tina- what colour is it
Kerrie- a nice pink
Tina smiled
Kerrie- all right it’s horrible but like I’m going to tell him that
Tina- never let them win hey
Kerrie- exactly how are the wedding plans going you know Tina it’s not to late to change your mind I wouldn’t wish my dad on anyone
Johnny- oi watch it
Kerrie grinned and pinched a bit of toast off her dad’s plate
Tina- bridesmaid fitting at two don’t be late
Kerrie- overjoyed
Tina- it’ll be fine this time
Kerrie smiled- god I hope so
Great, a sequel. Loved chrissie and jake in the first part. HHHMMM a pink bedroom....... its fab babe.

He passed baby Lia to Chrissie and kissed them both before leaving
Chrissie- come on then sweetheart just you and me for half an hour

Tina- I’ve got another dress fitting in an hour and I need to sort out the flowers
Johnny- just slow down there isn’t a rush
Tina- not a rush we get married in less than two weeks
Johnny- I’ll tell you what I’ll get out of your hair and go and pick up the honeymoon tickets
Tina- ok see you later
She kissed him and carried on reading the bridal magazine
Johnny arrived at the club, Jake was already there sorting through the accounts
Jake- you look like how I feel
Johnny- being a dad getting to you
Jake- sleep wise yeah what about you wedding plans going well
Johnny- I think so I’m trying to keep well out of it
Jake- Kerrie settling into the Square all right
Johnny- oh yeah I’m surprised Noah’s still in one piece
Noah entered the club
Noah- is she here
Johnny- no
Noah- thank god for that can’t hide here for an hour could I
Johnny- if you make yourself useful
Noah- anything than having to listen to Kerrie giving me another ear bashing she’s like a woman possessed
Jake- you knew what you were letting yourself in for
Noah- I know only have myself to blame wedding plans going ok
Johnny- I think
Noah- staying well out of it good plan I did that with the decorating and now I’ve got a Princess Barbie bedroom

Kerrie- Tina I thought this was meant to be an improvement on the last one
Tina started to laugh
Ruby- we look like a pair of giant oranges all round and orange
Kerrie- these are worse than the vomit coloured ones and that’s saying something
Tina- I think we’ll have to start again
Kerrie- you think if I ever wore this out in the open I’d have to wear a brown paper bag on my head these are embarrassing
Ruby- can’t we just have a normal colour like black or red
Kerrie- yeah or just go to a shop with my dad’s credit card and buy a couple of dresses
Tina- all right we’ll go in a few minutes
Kerrie- here open this
She passed Tina a bottle of wine
Kerrie- I think we’re gonna need it
Chrissie watched the three men enter
Chrissie- and what can I get you boys?
Noah- something mind numbing
Chrissie- a couple of bottles and an orange juice then
Johnny- please
Jake- Lia all right
Chrissie- yeah she’s spark out
Jake- and you
Chrissie- wish I could join her I’m knackered Little Mo had to call in Freddie’s really unwell
Jake- do you want a hand
Chrissie- you’ve got your own job to do
Johnny- you can have him back Chrissie I’ve finished with him today
Chrissie- thanks Johnny well finish your drink babes and then you can take over and I’ll get some kip
Jake lent over the bar and kissed her
The postman entered the pub
Chrissie- post the highlight of my day thanks Terry
She took the letter off him
Chrissie- bills, bills, bills, oh and a letter from Dennis
She opened it
Noah- enjoying the Florida sunshine is he
Chrissie- yeah he is
Jake- is he coming back
Chrissie- yeah he and Sharon will be back next week
Jake- wow eight months away and he’s finally coming back I’ll call Pat and tell her
Chrissie- thanks
Noah- she has been running his business for him
Chrissie- well seen as though you offered pop along and see her will you

She felt something wet and cold hit her face
Tina and Kerrie burst out laughing
Ruby placed her hand onto her face it was paint bright pink paint
Ruby saw the tin on the floor near her feet open
Kerrie- don’t you dare
Ruby flicked the paint off the paintbrush straight at her sister and it hit her all over the bright orange dress
Kerrie- you just declared war
Tina- you better not get me involved in this
Tina screamed as the paint hit her right in her face
Kerrie- sorry but it’s too late now
Tina- right that's it
Noah- do you think you’ll make an honest woman out of Chrissie then
Jake- one day maybe what about you and...no offence Johnny...the she-devil
Johnny- none taken it’s true
Noah- I don’t know if she goes mad decorating the house imagine what she’d do planning a wedding
Jake- true she does seem a bit well
Noah- scary, controlling
Jake- you took the words right out of my mouth
Johnny- right well I better find Tina and tell her the honeymoon is booked
The doors to the pub swung open and the three quite tidally women staggered in Ruby and Kerrie still in their awful dresses but all three covered in paint
Kerrie- drinks please Chrissie what do you think wedding dresses of the year or what
Chrissie- nice usual girls
Tina- we’re off shopping in a bit and Kerrie insisted on wearing them
Kerrie- oh hello darling like the paint put it to better use oh and I got paint on your favourite shirt whoops silly me
Noah- cheers babes
Kerrie- don’t mention it sweetheart
She sipped her drink
Kerrie- daddy...
Johnny- why do I have a feeling I won’t like this
Kerrie- can I borrow one of your cars to go into town with Tina and Ruby for dresses? Please
Johnny- not dressed like that
Kerrie- we'll get changed we just wanted to show off the wonderful colours and the really flattering dresses that make my hips look like I'm a size 22
Tina- oh go on Johnny please

They walked out
Noah- well she seems in a better mood there is hope yet

Chrissie made her way up the stairs after Jake took over the bar she was so tired
She opened the bedroom door and climbed straight onto the bed her eyes closed and she was soon fast asleep
After Kerrie, Johnny, Tina and Ruby left
Noah sighed
Jake- she’ll come round she always does
Noah- I know she just gets on my nerves all the time
Jake- she’s a woman mate you live with it
Noah- I can’t ever imagine Chrissie getting on your nerves you worship the ground she walks on
Jake- yeah I do and so do you with Kerrie it’s just different
Noah- I guess
Jake- Lia’s awake can you just look after the bar for five minutes I don’t want her to wake Chrissie
Noah- how did you know she was awake
Jake pointed to the baby monitor- she’s chatting to herself
He smiled and headed up the stairs quietly he lifted his daughter out of the cot and brought her down the stairs
Noah- wow she’s gonna be a heartbreaker when she’s older

Noah- drowning my sorrows go on then

A week flew by and the wedding plans were running pretty smoothly now the dress fiasco had been fixed
Tina- I thought you said you were sorting it
Johnny- I am don’t panic
Tina- I will panic I get married in four days and I have no wedding cake
Johnny- it’s all under control
Tina glared at him and stormed off upstairs
Ruby- nice one dad
Johnny- don’t you start as well go over and see your sister?
Ruby- fine
She grabbed her coat and left the house
Just as she was about to knock on the bright red door of Kerrie’s house the sound of a window smashing stopped her dead in her tracks and a shoe whizzed past her and landed on the street
Kerrie lent out of the window
Kerrie- sorry Rubes…you threw a bloody shoe at me
Ruby shrugged there was no way she was going in there and she made her way over to Stacey’s
Noah- can you blame me you’re a raving loony
Kerrie- me a loony you smashed a window not me
Noah- and I just happened to smash a window cos I felt like it did I no it just happens my girlfriend decided to spend six hundred pounds on a coat
Kerrie- so we can afford it
Noah- any money we spent we would talk about it you said after I bought the new TV
Kerrie- well that’s different we didn’t need a new TV
Noah- and you don’t need a new coat you already have nearing on thirty
Kerrie- I have twenty nine don’t exaggerate
Noah- oh I can’t be doing with you when you’re like this
People passing by the house looked up tutting and listening to the feisty pair arguing
Kerrie- going somewhere
Noah- yeah to go and have a drink
Kerrie walked over to where he stood
Kerrie- and leaving little old me here all on my own
She kissed him
Kerrie- am I forgiven
Noah- I don’t know about that
Kerrie- you better go to the pub then
She went to walk out but Noah grabbed her arm she turned walked back towards him and smiled
Ruby- she was going mental
Stacey- I bet she was if someone threw a shoe at me I’d show them what for
Ruby- well this is Kerrie
Stacey- she’ll eat him alive

Jake sat on the edge of the bed watching Chrissie sleep he placed a note on the pillow before lifting up the carrycot with Lia in and made his way downstairs
Little Mo- is she all right
Jake- just tired
Little Mo- I’ll make sure she gets plenty of rest
Jake- I’ll be at the club with this one if there is any problems
Little Mo- go on I’ll be fine it’s not that busy
Jake headed to the club with his young daughter
Johnny- we have company I’m honoured
Jake- you don’t mind it’s just Chrissie’s exhausted she isn’t sleeping well at all in fact she’s got worse since Dennis’s letter arrived must be nervous about seeing him and Sharon again after Den and everything
Johnny- if you want the day off I don’t mind
Jake- no I’ll be fine she just needs some rest she’s having some really horrible nightmares as well as long as she sleeps she’ll be fine
Johnny- yeah but will you
Jake- I’m fine I’ll be even better when Chrissie is
Johnny smiled at Jake trying to reassure him but Jake had a niggling feeling that there was something Chrissie was keeping from him

The back door to the Queen Vic opened
Sharon- I’m not sure this is a good idea
Dennis- look Chrissie was just trying to make you see what Den did and it got us back together didn’t it
Sharon- she tricked me into coming here
Dennis- yeah but without that where would we be now Den’s gone
Sharon- I still would like to see him I want to finish what we started
Dennis- don’t get upset about him he’s not worth it

They dumped their bags and headed upstairs
Chrissie was in the kitchen sitting sipping a cup of coffee her nerves were shot to pieces
Chrissie- Jake…
Dennis walked in followed by Sharon
Chrissie- you’re here already I wasn’t expecting you till the end of the week
Dennis- we got an earlier flight Chrissie are you all right?
Chrissie- it’s just really good to see you both again
She hugged Dennis and then Sharon
Chrissie- Sharon I’m sorry about your father what I did was unforgivable
Sharon- it’s fine so I hear you’ve got a daughter
Chrissie- Lia her daddy’s taken he out
Sharon- congratulations
Chrissie- thanks do you want a drink or something
Sharon- no we better get over to the flat we just thought we’d come and see you first
Chrissie- well later come over have some drinks we’ll all catch up you can meet Jake and Lia
Dennis- we will
He kissed Chrissie on the cheek
Dennis- you all right
Chrissie- just tired it’s nice that you’re back
She swallowed hard as the couple left the kitchen and headed downstairs

Sharon and Dennis left the Vic through the cellar and out into the Square they felt the eyes descending onto them
The whispers, the stares, and Zoë Slater on her market stall froze solid when she spotted the couple
Dennis saw her and protectively placed an arm around Sharon and they headed to their old flat
Dennis opened the door with the key and was surprised to find it quite tidy
Danny wandered out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist
Danny- you must be Sharon
He leant over and kissed her on the cheek
Dennis- watch it
Sharon- Danny right
Danny- I cleaned the flat for you a rarity so I hope you feel honoured
Dennis- very
Danny- if you want me to move out just say the word
Sharon- no you’re fine where you are
Dennis- who else is gonna clean the place
Danny- very funny have you heard Johnny’s marrying Tina and Kerrie is living on the Square
Dennis- with Noah
Danny- yep you should hear the rows
Dennis- I can imagine
Sharon- I better unpack leave you boys to catch up
Sharon headed into the bedroom

Kerrie- she’s a mum she’s being kept up all night then there’s the puking, the endless feeding and changing and the crying no wonder she’s a bit off
Dennis- I’m going to the club

Thanks for all the replies mine and Angeldelight's exam went OK we hoped we pass we're just getting ready for a huge night out so I love ya all :wub:
Kerrie opened her front door hours later the house was quiet Noah must still be at his meeting if he was ever at one in the first place
She pouted at the thought of Noah with other women it ate her up inside
Entering the lounge she switched on the light and slumped on the sofa
Kerrie flicked on the TV there was nothing on as usual oh goodie just in time for Holby City
Kicking off her shoes she settled down for the next instalment of the complicated love lives of Chrissie and Owen and the dirty dealings of super bitch Connie who of course was her favourite character
A couple of hours ticked by and the sound of the door turning awoke Kerrie from her sleep
It was pitch black and the silhouette of a figure caught her eye as he quietly tried to climb the stairs
Kerrie got up and headed into the hallway
Kerrie- there’s not point creeping up there you know not when I’m down here
Noah- sorry I’m late meeting went on longer than expected
Kerrie- course it did angel
She headed towards the kitchen and poured herself a large glass of wine
Noah followed
Noah- if you think I’m seeing another woman your off your head how many times do I have to tell you I don’t want anyone else I want you
Kerrie- flattering yourself sweetheart
Noah- Kerrie…
Kerrie- I’m going to bed ALONE
Noah- fine
Kerrie headed towards the stairs she knew she was being unfair she knew she was being paranoid but she couldn’t help it
She turned and watched him staring out of the kitchen window
Kerrie walked over
Noah- you made yourself very clear Kerrie
Kerrie- no I didn’t
She placed her arms around his waist
Kerrie- I love you but I get jealous I can’t help it
Noah turned to face her
Noah- I would never cheat on you never
He gently kissed her

Kerrie grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck

Dennis lay in bed that night thinking about Sharon, Chrissie and Den and the mess that he’d left behind
He knew Sharon needed to find him to put ghosts at rest to find out why he could do such a thing but deep down Dennis already knew the answers he’d heard them all before
Den was obsessive and controlling and that was why he’d ruined their plans
Dennis realised if he and Sharon were ever going to get on with their lives and move on they’d need to find Den talk to him let Sharon ask him the questions she so desperately needs answering as soon as possible he’d start making enquiries.
Chrissie also lay wide awake that night her and Jake hadn’t spoken since their row earlier that day she wanted to tell him, she wanted to tell him so badly but she couldn’t she was risking too much
Chrissie turned to Jake whose eyes were closed and she gently kissed him
Jake stirred slightly and opened his eyes
Jake- you ok
Chrissie nodded
Jake- come here
He wrapped his arms around her as she lay her head on his bare chest gently listening to the beating of his heart
Chrissie- I’m sorry about earlier
Jake- me too I should have listened not stormed off
He kissed her lightly on the top of her head
Chrissie closed her eyes, she felt safe in Jake’s arms no-one can hurt her not now not ever

She got out her mobile and dialled a number
Chrissie waited for a reply but got none
Jake stared down at his phone Chrissie was calling him but he didn’t want to know not now maybe later when he’d had time to think things over and got his head around what had happened
He looked across at Kerrie and Noah the happy couple and knew that it would never be him and Chrissie making vows but then again Jake never really believed in marriage in the first place so why was it so important now

Jake stared at the phone before getting up and sprinting out of the hotel and flagging down a passing car the driver agreed to give him a lift back to Walford

He remembered the picnic at the allotments in the early stages of their relationship it was there he realised he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her no-one else came close
Jake looked down at his sleeping daughter before making his decision he knew what he had to do
