it is cancer but he does recover from it

Yes he has the testicle removed and then it turns out the cancer has spread and he needs chemotherapy but he's ok in the end it is in this weeks Inside Soap and Soaplife

I don't know if someone has chemo they are advised to freeze either sperm or eggs in case the chemo leaves them enable to reproduce

Aww poor Kane. Kirsty and him don't have much luck do they? I think he should tell Kirsty though, that way she'll be able to give him the support he will need. O.K he's thinking about her and her HSC but Kirsty can always do a retake later on, you only get one shot at your health.

before kane has his op he sleeps with kirsty for the first time in ages ad that results in a pregnancy so they do get to have a baby

it is not before his op that he gets kirsty pregnant he has the op and whilst receiving chemo he gets caught out by kirsty she is very upset that he kept this from her but she helps him get through it and he recovers fully about 3 months later kirtsy falls pregnant although we will never know if this pregnancy was a sucess as they leave before the birth but they do have a miscarriage scare again although they get through it fine
