im too much of a city person to love somewhere quiet!! i loved getting away for the week and fishguard was so lovely an dpeaceful! connor really enjoyed all the bays and for once he looked really really healthy!! but towards the end of the week i was going crazy wanting shops!! mad. do think though that i would love a little house somewhere rural but near enough to shops so i can at least feel normal!! maybe in a few years time

did you notice any house prices in fishguard? i know they change from place to place,we went to carmarthen and they were fairly priced i suppose.just wondering if you get more for your money the further away from the bridge that you are?

I've heard the house prices are very reasonable in Wales, although I guess it depends on which part

If you go to www.rightmove.co.uk (http://www.rightmove.co.uk) you can search under the area and they have lots of different estate agents houses.

Hope this helps.

we wnet on holiday to fishguard and it was so quiet that i just wanted to go home!! when we went to swansea it was completely different. i could live there!! i disagree about the beaches though! we went ot some lovely sandy bays that my son loved. we only have pebbles down here so it was a great change.

i was looking at houses to rent and i found a brand new bulid house with four bedrooms semi detached for £500 a month!! the inside pics were lovely. it was very tempting to move!!! we cant get a 2 bedroom flat here for less thatn£550

I used to live in Wales until a few years ago, North Wales, not far from the Portmeirion village. Lived there for around 14 years. It was a nice area but I found it very quiet and would rather live in the City.

Hi, I'm from Wales but I live in Cardiff, not very rural! Would love to live in Tenby! I think that it is one of the nicest places in Wales but I bet the houses there cost a fortune. Also, i read somewhere that 75% of people who live there don't own cars. Being from a city, I find THAT pretty mad.

I love Cardiff, I worked down there on a few occassions. It seems like a really great place to live with loads of opportunities. If I were to move back to Wales, thats where I'd live.

We go on holiday to Pembrokeshire every year - its beautiful with all the coastal paths - we rent a cottage on the cliff top. Usually pretty warm too! Beaches are great!

we rented a cottage on the quay at fishguard and it was really lovly( a bit quiet). my little boy watched the boats coming in and going out all night!!

i agree the beaches are really nice. we stopped at one which was lovely! we spent a afternoon driving around finding little bays it was great!!

where in pembrokeshire do you stay

We stay about 20 mins out of Pembroke - our favourite place is Bosherston though - lily ponds, tea room and fab beach! My favourite beach is Marloes, the surf is really good.
