'If You Askew Susie'
Airing Monday, 27th February 2006 at 17:35 on BBC One
Alex refuses to break the law to find Katya, but confides to Susan that he still loves her. When Karl declines Alex’s invitation to the bucks’ do, Alex elicits Susan’s secret – Karl is still in love with her. Mature, Alex only uses this information to tease Susan – seems he’s not the only one who keeps secrets! Later, Alex challenges Karl to put aside his feelings – they’ll soon be part of a shared family. Won over, Karl attends, and Alex is happy until he experiences a sudden return of his symptoms. Karl helps him, but Alex is grimly confronted – his illness is back and he’s going to die.
Despite Susan’s wish for a sedate hens’ do at the winery, Janelle’s on hand to help Susan unleash the wild bride within.
Zeke fails to impress Bree with his skateboard, and Kim offers some skate tips – first, scuff up that pretty board...
Summer feels left out of Bree’s friendship with Rachel, more so when Bree rebukes her for talking with Zeke. Summer vents to Steph – everything’s changed and she wishes she never went away. Steph prompts Rachel to help Summer, and Max pushes Summer to spend more time with Bree. Bree and Summer reconnect, but Rachel finds she’s now out of the loop. But when Summer suggests Zeke’s too immature for Bree, Bree’s offended, and once again, Summer’s at the bottom of the pecking order.
Steph has another dream of Drew. Lyn’s on hand to hear Steph utter his name, and Steph confesses all. Steph angsts – what if she talks in her sleep and Max hears? She has a near miss with a Freudian slip, and wonders to Lyn why she’s dreaming of Drew when she’s in love and happy with Max.

'Banned By Your Man'

The looming threat Roo holds over the boys only grows when Dylan asks Roo to leave Stingray out of their beef. Roo vows to use Dylan’s weak point to advantage – Stingray will be stomped. Dylan gets Stingray out of the way, temporarily, by having him fake appendicitis – he needs time to find allies against Roo, or to take Roo out. When Sky visits and vows to stand by him, Dylan’s aware his normal life may soon be at an end. To protect her, and though it kills him to do it, he tells her it’s over between them – he never wants to see her again.
Sky tries to cheer Harold, and herself, by putting up Christmas decorations. But Harold, privately wallowing in suppressed grief and despair, rejects it as an inappropriate celebration. Sky’s hurt, and when Elle re-extends her friendship, Sky accepts and admits her main concern is what to tell Dylan when she finally brings herself to visit him. Coming to a decision, she visits, explaining she’s gone through anger, sadness and loneliness, and now all that’s left is love.
Ned’s pleased to see Stuart return from visiting Sindi, but Stuart’s distracted, and clearly up to something. He lies about having to go away again, and when Ned overhears Stuart apparently putting him down, Ned reacts with frustration. Stuart gives Ned some brotherly sledging, but when he suggests Ned’s singing aspirations are an easy way out in light of his reading issues, he’s crossed a line. But he can’t stay to heal the hurt he’s caused, and Ned’s left, still in denial.
Janae and Boyd head to the beach for schoolies week. Their fun in the sun comes under threat when they discover Mike Pill camped on the same stretch of sand. To add insult to injury, Mike’s there with Karen Chambers, a Colac girl who tormented Janae at school. With neither couple prepared to be intimidated, the mud starts flying closely followed by the claws. Who’ll back down first?

'Stu Can Play That Game'
Airing Wednesday, 1st March 2006 at 17:35 on BBC One
Sky tries to dissuade Dylan from ending their relationship, but he rejects her and saying that her name will be removed from the approved contact list. Going undercover, Stuart arrives at the gaol, masquerading as a prisoner. When Dylan attacks Roo, he’s restrained by Roo’s new cellmate – Stuart (aka Mick Farrer). Stingray returns from the infirmary, and Dylan tells him about Stuart. Thinking Stuart’s here to save them, Stingray is rapt. Meanwhile, Roo questions “Mick” and suddenly remembers Stuart’s connection with Stingray. Keeping this to himself, he offers “Mick” his friendship and protection if “Mick” does him a favour by taking care of a guy called Timmins. Stuart assumes he’s talking about Dylan, but Roo shocks him – the target is Stingray.
While helping with the soup kitchen, Connor admits to Harold that he feels like a fraud. He rages with anger over the crash, and still feels guilty for his crime against Toadie and Serena (to get money for Maddy’s op). Harold, compassionate as ever, takes Connor to the police to make a confession. And after receiving a warning for making a false statement, Connor feels a weight has been lifted. He repays Harold with some additional help at the soup kitchen. Meanwhile, Sky is frustrated that Harold seems to be compassionate with everyone but her. Privately, Harold can’t face the injustice of his family’s death, and avoids Sky, while relying on his charity work as an emotional crutch. As he’s been unable to articulate this, Sky feels increasingly isolated. Connor, aching to pay Harold back, is the one to heal the rift, and Harold and Connor become even closer as a result.
Janae goes head to head with her former nemeses, Karen and Mike. But after a futile fight at the beach, Boyd helps her realise that she’s moved on from the past and has now made a better life for herself.

'Rued Awaking'
Airing Thursday, 2nd March 2006 at 17:35 on BBC One
Max learns of Steph’s dreams involving Drew and is suitably unimpressed. Steph swears that her unconscious musings in no way diminish her ‘real world’ love for him and Max pretends to be accepting. But Steph’s dreams take a sinister twist and she searches under the house for the ‘magic’ protective box she discovered recently. Finding the box missing, she panics that her dreams are actually a warning – something is threatening to harm her baby.
Toadie confronts Connor at the soup kitchen and makes an emotional appeal to resurrect their friendship. But Connor announces that the man Toadie knew is dead – he should forget about their friendship and move on. Harold applauds Connor’s effort to end a ‘destructive’ friendship once and for all. But Connor’s shocked when Harold offers to give him half of David’s life insurance payout. Is Harold’s devotion to him becoming too great?
Chagrined by Gino’s favouritism of Janelle, Lyn decides to make a break and pursue a new career path. With help from Kim and Janelle she overcomes her doubts and decides to apply for a corporate P.A. job. But she’s shocked to learn that her potential employer is the devil himself, Paul Robinson.
After a challenge from Paul to create the perfect Christmas, Izzy embraces the spirit of the season. But it doesn’t come naturally and she’s forced to approach other women on the street for advice.

'Sleep Impact'
Airing Friday, 3rd March 2006 at 17:35 on BBC One
Karl confirms that Alex has little time left, and Alex finally accepts that it’s time to tell the children about his illness. He may not even make it until Katya is found – especially now that the search for her has hit another brick wall. Susan puts on a brave face for Alex, vowing devotion and support. With the kids swept up in Christmas and pre-wedding fever, Alex and Susan prepare for the grim task of telling them the truth.
Despite Karl’s assurances that the only threat to Steph’s pregnancy is her anxiety, Steph remains uneasy about what the missing “protection” box could portend. Steph’s dreams take another sinister turn, with Drew telling Steph he will not leave until he gets what he came for – could he mean the baby? Despite Karl’s warnings, Steph panics.
Paul is impressed enough with Lyn’s “practice” interview to offer her a trial, which she passes with flying colours - the job is hers if she wants it. Will Lyn deal with the devil?
Accepting Janelle’s advice, Bree abuses her newfound “popular” status and plays Summer and Rachel against each other. Predictably, the plan backfires, leaving poor Bree kicking herself for listening to her mum.
Determined to protect Susan and show he is capable of being a bad boy, Zeke “steals” Janelle’s videotape of “party-girl” Susan. But Janelle has the last laugh – she has a master copy. :cheer:
