I think he's got something to to with Shelly that's why he's been trying to cosy up to Steph so he can get to the truth about what happened to her.

I agree it would be good if it had something to do with Shelly, I never felt that really came to a close, and the writers are now trying to get us to feel sorry for steph with her brother and all.

are we supposed to forget she tried to seduce her daughters husband, and killed another person?

i think its something to do with stephs brother you know. he gave him a look the other day as if to say im under your control. steph ran off and he looked at terrence(if i spelt it right) and he sort of moved his head to say chase her and it made me think ahhhhhhhh thats the game. lol dont know though might just be me reading too far into the acting.lol

Also has anybody noticed the way he looks at Steph after she's left the room or something he gives a kind of weird look as to say " i'm onto you" or something, I find that odd. He acts differently as though he really cares about her when he's around her!

i think that adam does genuinely care for steph but i am intregued? as to what his secret past is it would be good for it to be connected to shelley though as stephs secret has to come out one day nothing stays secret in soaps forever

Its true - nothing does stay a secret in soap it just takes a whilse to come out!

He does appear to genuinely care for steph, but there is obviously something else going on - it wouldnt be soapland otherwise!

today on lorraine kelly Sharon Marchell announced that Terrance returns knowing the Doctors secret something to do with his bed side manor or something!!! Maybe a mercy killing sounds intresting though.

He may have been a senior partner in a big city GP centre. Maybe he was involved in a scandel where he slept with his patients! The NHS gave him a compromise as he was a good doctor and sendt him into the wilderness by giving Hotten Surgery as his and have enforced strict guidelines. He intially started seeing steph but may have transferred her to a locum so that they can see each other!
