Everyone else liking the Ivan and Paul storyline?

I really like this storyline. It's about time that there was a gay couple in Emmerdale. They make a good couple aswell. What does everyone else think?

They're really cute! I love them (not literally though..... :D ) They really suit each other, and i think the story is generally working really well

I think its a great step forward in soaps, considering the social changes already with civil partnerships etc. generally homosexuality is being more accepted.

I also really like this couple and have been hooked, and can't wait to see how it develops. Its not just happened out of the blue particuarly, with them rushing into things - you get to see both of their insecurities about the relationship etc.

I'm glad its being handled and accepted better than the Todd thing in corrie.

The Todd thing in Corrie was just stupid. I didnt feel like i was feeling that Todd was confused if that makes sense but with Ivan you can feel and know that he is trying to come to terms with his sexuality. Its more realistic and handled much better.

im loving this storyline but i think paul is pushing ivan a bit he needs to realise that this is a big step for him and he not as confident as paul

i agree, emmerdale need a bit of versatility in their storylines and this is one way of getting it, seeing as ivan isn't a gay character, he's bisexual, he brings a whole new aspect to the show.

I like this storyline and i'm glad Kelly helped Paul and Ivan. Nicola is horrible. It is way better than Todd's storyline in Corrie.
