How much do you want to spend? Laser or inkjet?

Are you going to be printing photos out?

I have an inkjet printer but it's also a scanner and copier and it only cost £99.99 from Argos! It's an Epson CX3200 and it's pretty good. The only problem I have experienced with Epsons is that you have to use official Epson ink cartridges only otherwise they don't work.

Check out QVC, they have some brillant all in one printers at very resonable prices! :)

I bought an all-in-one fax, scanner, printer and photocopier for 99.99. Its a Brother (can't remember the exact model)

For 50 quid you can get a good quality printer. I'll give some recommendations later.

as others have said it is really importaint to check the running cost for ink, as some of the printers are reasonable to buy but really expensive to run :(

Is anyone here good with technology? Like printers.
My printer isn't working properly. It won't seem to feed the paper in :s Any ideas why?? I kinda really need to use it too lol.

Is it trying to work. If not then reinstall the drivers
If its trying to work it could be a piece of paper jammed or the rollers which drag the paper in have lost their grip

It is trying to work. No paper in it. So must be the grip thing :( Is that unfixable?

Have you changed the quality of the paper? I mean, some paper appears to be too smooth for the printer to grip. All I can think of at the mo.sorry

Was it stored as always? Could it have become a bit damp at some time? Not necessarily in your home but the store you got it from?

How old is your printer? Sometimes it more economical to buy a new one than repair and old one.

Try cleaning the rubber rollers with methalated spirits that helps
