I read somewhere that in the New Year, Pat starts working for Patrick at the car lot and they both realise there is a "spark" between them. Could this mean that something may happen between Pat and Patrick? Has anyone else heard about this?? I hope its not true

An affair between Pat and Patrick is an absolutely pathetic and utterly stupid storyline. The one happy couple on the square, Patrick and Yolande, are to be wrecked.

Whoever devised this story should be whacked with the birch.

yeah, this happens, i read it too, and i read it somewhere else. its a rubbish idea - patrick and pat are so OLD, why cant they just let a happy couple like patrick and yolande settle in together and live the rest of their lives happily, and concentrate on the INTERESTING characters?

Jada-GDR

and why would patrick fall for pat? with those EYEBROWS???

Totally not. Patrick hasn't had many women, and look at how many Pat's had! She'd just hurt him if it were true.

I actually like Pat and Frank's relationship, it works for me. And just for the record I'm only 20. I just think it's great that a couple can have that much passion between them, when they've known each other for so long, and the age thing too. Everytime Frank comes back you always know they are going to fall for each other again, because for them there's been nobody else.

I'm not sure about the whole Pat and Patrick thing. Why they would fall for each other after all this time, I don't know. I remember before Patrick and Yolande got together they thought about going out (I don't think I was imagining that), but there was never that spark there. And with Yolande you can tell that they have got great passion between them.

I'm sorry if I'm making people feel sick, but there are many different kinds of relationships, love is love

Lets hope he doesnt turn up wearing nothing but a bowtie and a smile like Frank did that time.

I still haven't got over that. I'm still seeing the therapist

That was really funny! Pat was so not Roy's type. She had so many chances to leave him, she should have done.

I would choose another work other than funny, like "frightening" or "emotionally damaging" :) To this day, I still can't get that image from my mind

I agree re. Pat and Roy. I do think Pat and Frank are more well suited. I really can't see anything blossoming between Pat and erm, Pat

By the way :rotfl: @PatPat

I think there will be a "moment" but nothing will come of it, I think Pat has "grown up" and is not about to mess around with Patrick. Maybe EE will give her a full time boyfriend some day... :hmm: Some one JUST FOR HER,,
