Unusual kids names

I've taken to reading womans own at work recently (one of the temps buys it religiously) and it has a section on what unusual names people call their children. Some of them are good and some of them i cringe at. Having an unusual name myself (yes my real name is Rain) i'm curious as to what people have called their children if it's an unusual name.

i don't think its particuarly unusual but i dont know anyone else with the same name,my son is called sonny and when i tell people they always look at me as if im mad but i dont think its that bad.

My little sister (age 12) is called Rawnie. It makes me laugh because nobody can spell or pronounce it at first. Hehehe :angel:

i havent actually got kids yet but planning on calling them adrienna and i want an out there boys name, i like quin and hunter, thought guess neither of them are especially strange

Sonny's a cool name. Reminds me of the story of how Sonny Liston (famous boxer - would make Tyson pee in his pants) got his name. Apparently his father had 11 children and couldn't remember their names. So he called them all Sonny!

The most weird names have to be those given by Paula Yates. 'Heavenly Thrana Tixie ..' or something just as similar.

hes named after sonny liston and sonny from the godfather so his daddy tells me!! :)

Is Willow your real name ? My friend has just had a little girl and named her Willow Rain I think its really pretty, her other daughter is called Aurelia Star (she always was very creative !!) x

When people call their kids "Destiny Miracle" you can probably figure out the child was a miracle child. My mother must have just looked out of the window and said "damn it's raining"
