TV WEEK Spoilers November 14-18, 2005

Lethal Letter
Has the Ramsay Street killer struck again? First there was the plane crash that killed three Ramsay Street residents. Now Izzy discovers that someone had left her a letter soaked in lethal poison. Who wants her dead? It seems someone has a grudge against the vixen, and is determined to carry out their vendetta.

Having already received a couple of sinister threats from the anonymous source - including a note that correctly predicted the plane she was travelling on at the time was doomed - Izzy and her lover, Paul, now make the shock discovery that they have poison in their bodies, after handling a letter left on Izzy's car. "I don't think Izzy has any clue at this point as to who's behind this," reveals Natalie. "Paul is blaming himself and thinks he's the one being targeted, but because Izzy was the one who got the letters, she knows they were for her. "There have been a lot of people Izzy has hurt over the years," smiles Natalie, adding, "so she has a long list to go through."

Shortly after coming into contact with the letter, Izzy and Paul become ill. While Paul initially tries to reassure Izzy that she's simply stressed, he realises she's in serious trouble when her breathing becomes laboured. Soon after, Paul discovers with horror that his vision has become blurred. Rushed to hospital with Izzy, Paul is naturally relieved when his condition quickly picks up. But the same is not true for Izzy. It's clear that her life is on the line!

Meanwhile, Karl tells Paul the substance found in their systems has been identified as a contact poison. Paul, who cares deeply for Izzy and also for his daughter, Elle, is seriously concerned. And he becomes increasingly paranoid about his and his family's safety. Meanwhile, who's targeting Izzy, and will she survive this latest threat on her life?

In the dark
She may be a central performer in this intriguing storyline, but that doesn't mean Natalie Bassingthwaighte knows who wants her character dead. The popular actress, who juggles her Neighbours schedule with her commitments to her band Rogue Traders, insists she's no wiser when it comes to solving the mystery. "I actually don't know who it is yet," Natalie says. "I think in Izzy's mind, she goes through Karl and Susan , but she doesn't suspect Paul for a second. He's her rock." Does Natalie believe the person currently targeting Izzy was also behind the plane crash? "Definitely. It has to be," she replies. "I can't wait to find out who it is."

Big day in court
Time in the slammer seems inevitable for Dylan and Stingray. Dylan and Stingray's day of judgement has finally arrived. Willing to do whatever he can to keep his younger brother out of jail, Dylan makes a shock decision to plead guilty to the armed robbery he was forced to commit, with the courtroom told that he coerced Stingray into lying to the police. "Dylan knows that Stingray would not be able to deal with prison, and that's why he's come up with this plan," explains Ben Nicholas, who plays Stingray. "Dylan decides to take all the blame so Stingray will get off - and Stingray goes along with it."

Indeed, Dylan's plan is that the court will take pity on Stingray. But it soon becomes clear that the judge isn't swayed. Suddenly, it looks possible that both Dylan and Stingray will end up behind bars. "Going to prison would come as a massive shock to both Stingray and Dylan, not to mention their family," hints Ben. "It would be a nightmarish situation for everyone."

Meanwhile, will Dylan's on/off girlfriend, Sky, decide to boycott the trial?

Sad Farewell
A moving memorial service is held for David, Lil and Serena this week. Meanwhile, Connor, who's living on the streets, is struggling to cope. Cold, hungry and alone, the former Ramsay Street lad fronts up for a meal at the Salvation Army. But Connor is in for a shock when he comes face to face with his old neighbour, Harold! Will Harold talk Connor into coming back to Erinsborough?

On a much happier note, Joe asks an overjoyed Lyn to marry him. "Lyn's really fallen for Joe," Janet says. "She thinks he's a genuine, lovely person." But will Joe soon be suffering from a severe case of cold feet

TV WEEK Spoilers November 21-25, 2005

Alone Again
Poor Lyn! Just when the Ramsay Street mum finally thought she'd been given another chance at love, she's left devastated again. Joe Mangel, whom Lyn was planning to marry, walks out of Lyn's life this week. And Lyn is understandably shattered. "Lyn's had her heart broken before, but never this badly," reveals Janet. "It's a terrible thing for her to have to pick herself up from, but she'll have to do so because of her son, Oscar."

But it seems that Lyn is still harbouring hopes that Joe will one day return to Ramsay Street. "It's a really sad time for Lyn," Janet says. "She enjoyed Joe's humour and his warmth. She thought he was genuine and would be easy to live with. It's a major disappointment for her."

Country Romance
Love is in the air for Boyd and Janae as they enjoy their first holiday together. Loved-up Ramsay Street teens Boyd and Janae look set to take their relationship to the next level this week. The pair, whose romance has survived many hurdles, head to the country for a relaxed getaway - staying in a tent that Boyd has filled with rose petals. "They decide they'll go away for the weekend together to the country," reveals Eliza Taylor-Cotter, who plays Janae. "Boyd tries to make the weekend very romantic, and, in Janae's eyes, it's all very cute and lovely. He goes to a lot of effort."

As Eliza reminds us, Janae always liked Boyd. "She was attracted to them from the first day they met," she says. "Boyd's such a great character. He's really sweet and very honest, and Janae fell in love with his personality." As for filming the love scene with Kyal, Eliza says it was just another day at work. "We're great friends," she says. "We laughed about it. It wasn't awkward at all." But how will Janae's mother, Janelle, react when Janae tells her she's in love with Boyd?

the actress has left for good but she did agree when leaving to do occasional apperances to make the storyline more believable - just because you are at bording school does not mean you never return for special appearances like the birth of your sibling or holidays as other soaps do it.

Excellent, i think it's great that she's coming back to do that. Not many people would. and it does make it more believeable, as even boring schools have end of term and stuff.

Hard cell
Struggling to cope with life behind bars, Stingray's behaviour is becoming increasingly erratic, much to the despair of his brother and cellmate, Dylan. "Stingray has been trying to act all tough," says Ben Nicholas, who plays him. "He picks a fight with the biggest guy as soon as he gets in there. He jumps on him and starts flailing away. Later, Stingray stands up to the guards and Dylan tries to calm him down again."

But Stingray and Dylan are in for a further shock. Their archenemy, Roo (Richard Cawthorne), is brought in as a fellow prisoner! "Roo is the last person they're expecting to see," Ben says. "Dylan's been trying to keep a lid on things, but as soon as he sees Roo, he hits him and then all hell breaks loose."

Meanwhile, back in Ramsay Street Dylan's girlfriend, Sky, makes a candid confession - she's not sure if she can wait for Dylan.

Party Animals
This week, Susan's hens party gets under way - and rather out of hand! "Lyn was supportive of Susan's idea to celebrate, but Janelle puts a bit of a spanner in the works and it turns out quite a hilarious occasion," laughs Janet Andrewartha, who plays Lyn.

Earlier in the week, Karl announces a shock decision to Susan - he feels they can't be friends if he's to move forward in his own life. Susan, who's preparing to marry seriously ill Alex, is understandably hurt and tells good friend Lyn that, once again, Karl is putting himself first.

Elsewhere, Elle enlists the help of Ramsay Street's greatest manipulator, Izzy, in a plot to make Ned jealous.

The sad truth
Alex opens up about his illness but can he cope with his family's reaction? This is the moment he's been dreading, but one he simply cannot delay any longer. Alex finally tells his children, Zeke and Rachel the devastating truth; he has an advanced form of cancer and doesn't have long to live. Alex gathers the courage to reveal all after Ramsay Street medico Karl confirms that he has only a little time left. As for Alex's fiancée Susan, she candidly admits that she's unsure she'll be strong enough to care for Zeke and Rachel when Alex is gone.

Meanwhile, the children are understandingly shattered by their father's bombshell. While Zeke won't let his father out of his sight, Rachel responds very differently - she runs away from home. "Rachel is very angry and hurt that she's been kept out of the loop - and understandably so," Jackie says. "She's a young woman at an age where she feels she can take on adult responsibilities and adult concepts. To have been denied this information, she feels like she's been treated like a child." Will Rachel be found before she falls into harm's way?

Pregnant Steph’s Heartache
Steph’s dreams of the late Drew have her worried her cancer has returned…Happily married to her long-time love, Max, and looking forward to motherhood, Steph Scully’s life has never been better. So why, then, does the Ramsay Street favourite suddenly start dreaming of the late Drew Kirk (Dan Paris)? What’s more, the dreams are rather, shall we say, intimate! Then, in a gripping development, Steph’s dreams take a sinister turn, with Drew telling Steph he won’t leave her until he gets what he came for! Soon after, Steph – who has already waged a brave battle against breast cancer – becomes convinced that Drew’s message is an extremely ominous one. She’s certain Drew is informing her that her life is in danger again. Could her cancer have returned?

Earlier, the pregnant Steph can’t help but wonder what has caused Drew, for whom she once had strong feelings, to suddenly make reappearance in her life – albeit in her dreams. “It all starts with this dream that Steph has, which begins haunting her,” Carla reveals. “She wonders why she’s dreaming about Drew at a time like this. It really messes with her mind.” So much so, Carla says, that Steph even starts to put off going to bed at night. “It makes her afraid to go to sleep,” she confirms. Steph also worries that her devoted husband, Max, will realise she’s far from herself. And with good reason! “Steph accidentally calls Max ‘Drew’ as she’s half asleep,” Carla reveals. “She keeps slipping up.”

Steph finds herself confessing her dreams to her mother, Lyn, who happens to be there when Steph mutters Drew’s name. Steph tells her mother she’s terribly concerned. Why is she dreaming of Drew when she’s in love with Max? Viewers will recall that Drew died in a tragic horse-riding accident three years ago. Leaving his young wife, Libby (Kym Valentine), the mother of his young son, devastated. As for Steph, no one could argue that she hasn’t endured tough times in the past few years. Believing she had won her battle against breast cancer, Steph has since realised she wants to be a mother more than anything. But when it appeared highly unlikely that she and Max would be able to have a child of their own, the couple decided to adopt – only to be left heartbroken when the teenage mother of the baby they were planning to raise as their own suddenly had a change of heart. So when Steph discovered she was pregnant, she couldn’t have been more joyous. “Steph’s finally getting everything she wants out of life and now Drew has come back to haunt her,” Carla confirms. “Drew was the guy Steph was in love with years ago, but who married her best friend, Libby. “Steph’s love for Drew didn’t go anywhere. It was unrequited. But they were best friends.”

Meanwhile, Steph becomes anxious when her dreams about Drew develop a frightening quality. Is Steph right in believing her cancer is back? Stay tuned!

Prisoner of love
Finally bringing herself to pay a visit to Dylan in prison, Sky makes a confession. While she originally wondered whether she would be able to wait for him, she now realises she's still madly in love with Dylan - and will stand by him no matter what happens. But Sky is in for a huge shock. To protect her, Dylan leaves her shattered when he tells her it's over between them. He says he never wants to see her again!
