Alex Carter Joins Emmerdale

Bob Hope’s son and heir, Jamie! You’ll all know actor Alex Carter as hilarious Hollyoaks teen Lee Hunter, who is suitably equipped for the job as a hapless Hope, having picked up the Best Comedy performance at 2004’s British Soap Awards and Best Comedic Performance in Soap at the recent North West Smile Comedy Awards.

“Jamie is a real chip off the old block but has a slightly strained relationship with his dad,” Alex reveals.

“I’m really excited about the character and can’t wait to get started on Emmerdale.”

I hate when charactors leave soaps and go to another one, it's like ''who are they playing again'' I have to say I'll miss the infamous Lee Hunter.
