30 October

Cilla is ready for her hen night looking every inch the tarty bride to be. She is determined to enjoy her last night of 'freedom', and with she and Yana dressed from head to toe in naughty nurse outfits, it is clear they mean business! When Cilla manages to pull a young bloke she can't believe her luck - but it looks like her luck has run out when Les returns early from his stag do to find a strange bloke in the house. Cilla thinks on her feet and tells Les it is her son back home for the wedding - will she be able to pull the wool over Les's eyes?

Meanwhile, Kirk tells Fiz about the plan to hijack the church and use a de-frocked vicar, and Fiz is appalled.

Mike confides in Penny about his feelings for grandson Jamie, and how he wants him in his life even if Danny doesn't want to acknowledge he is Mike's son. Penny suggests they offer Jamie a manager’s job at her factory which he awkwardly accepts, much to Danny’s annoyance. As Jamie rubs his nose in it, Danny is furious with Mike and accuses him of trying to take his son away from him.

Jason is missing Violet and goes to see her at the Rovers to offer an olive branch. He asks her to be his guest at the wedding but she can’t go because she has to work. Will these two star crossed lovers ever get back together?

31 October

The soap wedding of the year has finally arrived. The bride and groom are old enough to know better, the dress is new-ish, the church is definitely borrowed and the air will be blue before the day is out. All the ingredients for two episodes of myrth, madness and mayhem - Battersby style!

The day starts well enough as bride-to-be Cilla is pampered by best mate Yana. Chuffed to bits with her stylish hair-do and, totally missing the irony of the kiss curls on her forehead looking suspiciously like three sixes, she prepares for the 'best day of her life.'

But things quickly start to go down hill when a second run in with the Quo puts Les and the entire band in neck braces; the real Billy arrives for the wedding leaving Les bemused and confused; Tracy refuses to hand over the flowers and the Church door is locked. Not quite the perfect day Cilla had envisaged.

Meanwhile, Scooter decides that he doesn’t want to go to the wedding and would rather spend the day watching television. Agitated Sarah leaves Bethany with him and goes to the wedding alone. Jason is also there alone and there is a strong sense that they are very aware of each other’s company.

Leanne arrives home in time for the wedding and tells Janice she is back to stay, even though Jamie makes it very clear he'd rather she had stayed away.

2nd Episode

Having made a very quick getaway from the church, Cilla is impressed to see that their ruse to get as many presents as possible has actually worked. As she surveys the white goods heaven before her, she can't believe her luck. But nothing is ever as good as it seems for the Battersby-Browns and when Les and the Quo have finished wreaking havoc, Cilla isn't quite as well off as she'd thought.

The rest of the wedding is something of a comedy of errors as Diggory's wedding cake proves to be not exactly fresh, Yana tries to get off with the band who avail themselves of the buffet before the guests arrive.

But with the gift of a free honeymoon from Billy, and the chance to sing on stage with the Quo, Les and Cilla end up having a ball as 'man and wife' and the reception is a memorable day for all in Weatherfield.

Fed up with Scooter, Sarah decides to let her hair down and have a drink, when she catches Jason's eye. They talk about old times and end up getting closer together. You can’t mistake the electricity between them as they share a passionate kiss.

Meanwhile, Violet decides to go to the reception after all to surprise Jason. But how much of a surprise will she get when she arrives just as he’s leaving – with Sarah?

Candice finally gets her hands on famous hair as The Quo have a hair emergency and desperately need a stylist. She happily obliges and Francis gives her a big tip. Later, Barney tells her that they are very impressed by her talents and offer her a job on tour. Will Candice agree to go with the Quo?

2 November

Eileen assumes that Violet has stayed the night after she finds two empty glasses of wine downstairs and she is thrilled that the couple seem to have sorted out their differences. But when she sees Jason coming downstairs with Sarah, not Violet, she is horrified. Meanwhile, Sarah braces herself for an interrogation as to why she has stayed out all night. She lies and tells Scooter she stayed at Candice's. Does he believe her?

Later, Jason meets up with Violet and decides that despite his fling with Sarah he wants to give it another go - now all he has to do is keep his recent liaison a secret from trusting Violet!

Cilla is still furious with Les over the wedding debacle and can think of nothing worse than spending two weeks on a beach with her new husband! She hits upon a much better idea and Yana doesn't take much convincing to throw a few things in a suitcase and head off on honeymoon with Cilla. Les meanwhile is left at home to look after Chesney and the dog!

Elsewhere, Martin agrees to help Robyn move into her new place in Liverpool. But it is clear he is going to miss having her around every day, and during a heart to heart he spontaneously suggests moving in with her. What will Robyn’s answer be?

And Candice waits for a call from the Quo.

4 November

Having stayed the night at the Grimshaws’, Violet is back on cloud nine. Jason is keen to start afresh but he and Violet go for a walk and bump into Sarah. Oblivious Violet gushes that they are back together which shocks Sarah who, bored with her life with Scooter, is surprised at the ease with which Jason has moved one girl out of his bed and another in. Eileen however is thrilled and goes out of her way to welcome Violet back into the Grimshaw fold.

Kelly is getting a little tired of playing second fiddle to Lloyd's 'darts nights'. In the Rovers she tells Janice of her plans to slip some laxatives into Lloyd’s drink to render him incapable of going out this evening. Janice thinks he deserves it. But the practical joke backfires when Kelly overdoes things and he is rushed to hospital with terrible stomach pains.

Martin tells Sarah and Gail about his plans to move to Liverpool with Robyn. They are taken aback but are happy for Martin. Gail wonders if Martin has broken the news to David yet and they both worry about his reaction to his dad leaving the Street.
