belle was so funny yesterday - guessing it was a new actress? if so she's very good and her voice is just hilarious! just like a kid's should be!

today's episode was ok, liked kelly's line: your other face would be shocked if it knew where i was going :rotfl: :cheer:

Poor Laurel - but it's not really believable that Ethan would succumb to Kelly's charms. He spent months fending off the attentions of Debbie. I know Kelly is a lot older and he was under the influence but it still didn't ring true.

Only saw the second half. Seemed good.

Laurel left Ashtray, presumably going for a mini-break. Ashtray pleaded with her to stay but it was no good. Laurel thought Ashtray was making her the guilty one.

Also some nice scenes between Delilah and Carl with the kids, and Shadrach/Zack/Marlon going fishing.

what was gabbie doing in the hospital tonight, i missed the first bit. Ethans confession in his sermon was funny, viv telling the bishop to sit down and let him carry on. i was so Happy for Laurel and Ashley at the end, even though he is a bit of a drip.

Great episode tonight. Poor Betty. :( I remember watching Emmerdale Farm in the 80s when Seth was in it. Very sad to see a long-serving character go, particularly in circumstances like this.

Why they put this in a poorly watched Sunday ep though I shall never know. Moving the ep time will only make things worse. Why don't they just go back to being on weekdays again. :rolleyes:

Good episode but did anyone notice the continuity error. We saw Betty and Laurel head up the escalator to the first floor to meet Kathy yet when they were shown into the room it was obvious looking through the window they were on the ground floor

Great episode tonight. Really liked the ending with the piano concerto of the long extended Emmerdale Farm theme tune from the early days back in the 70s.

Great to see Biff back too. Hasn't he aged?! :eek:

i thought the episode was really well done, especially the end it nearly made me cry. Did anyone else notice that when they were in the woods, where the dingles were fishing it was raining and then when Biff and Betty were walking through it was really sunny. I thought that was odd as were they not meant to be in the same woods. I could be wrong. Betty and Biffs scene was really moving.

Great ending, and a good episode overall. With better actors than Adele Silva and Patsy Kensit, this could have been a brilliant episode. To be fair though Adele was a bit better tonight, and Patsy had some great lines, though I wish the lady reversed into her.

Dont mock my Ms Kensit, i love her! Fair enough shes not the most wondeful actress in the world but shes got to have a bit of talent to get where she is today, she does have some fab one liners though, thanks to the writers! i just love the way she gets on over on every one

Patsy Kensit :sick: is a terrible actress. I certainly dont think it was talent that got her where she is today :cool: She wastes a fantastic script with her wooden acting and her gormless botox enhanced expression. Bring back Kim Tate now there is a fantastic chrarcter ably played. Lets see Kensit get the smile wiped off her face

It's Claire KING actually, just thought I'd point that out. :)

Realistically she couldn't stay for long, as she is still on the run from the boys in blue. Personally I hoped she would have been caught off screen and served her sentence, making it realistic for her to return to Emmerdale in the long run as Kim.

Really good episode tonight (and this week so far). Lorraine Chase has been wonderful as Steph. Even the Doc is growing on me too. Also lots of the fabulous Val too. All in all I cannot complain. :cool:

Betty seemed more upset about Alan's ill health than the death of Seth. :hmm: :searchme:

Excellent episode yet again tonight. Steph and Val brilliant once again. Lorraine Chase did a magnificant and convincing job at portraying a woman with thorns in her side from her tragic past with a splendid demonstration of emotions.

It's been an excellent week for Emmerdale, the best since Zoe's exit. Keep it up. :clap:

I thought the hour episode would be boring but it wasn't. I enjoyed that. I winced when Carl went "Stop that Chas" but I can't help but be happy because.......... Carl Still Loves Chas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor Del though, she though her and Carl could be together. She looked so upset. I want to know whats gone on between Chas and Del. Only downer on that episode was Sam and Alice. They are just boring!

I'm not a great lover of the Sam/Alice storyline either.

Debbie used to be a really good character, but lately they have ruined her and all she does is whinge and moan.

I love the way Lisa floored Pollard. :lol:

I think Del is a great addition but Carl is definitely better suited with Chas. Yay that he is still in love with her. I think Chas is back later this year. :D

I did like Emily at one point, but she's changed. She has been obsessed with Sarah. When she told Cain Sarah was on the floor. That was a complete lie. I don't feel she brings anything to emmerdale.

Whilst a little out of place I liked Tom telling Jimmy one of his usual annoying anecdotes about the toy metal train he got Jimmy when he was ickle... then Matthew took the wheels off it!!!! :rotfl: Poor kid!

Reminds me of the time when I was about 6 and my little sisters were sick of having been bullied and manipulated by sneaky, evil little me for so long, so they took my precious Dentist Barbie and chucked her in a sink of cold water. When I next pressed her to make her say one of her impressive Dentist things, she gave a pathetic gurgle and broke. I was devastated!! :lol:

Off topic though, forget my ramblings. A great ep. :clap:

Possibly, but only the fact that it was two people kissing on a bed. The fact it was two blokes doesnt make any difference to me personally.

Also using the term ladyboy at that time of the evening could prompt some difficult questions from young kids i'd imagen
