I know, I know! I was shocked too! My manic Danny...well, it doesn't matter, gay people are lovely, and it just makes him seem nicer in my opinion. At least he's not violent and psycho in real life. (Although I love violent and psycho men!)

Vanilla is alright but my favourite is just plain old regular coke! Cherry is quite nice though. I also think that Pepsi and Coke taste different, does anyone agree or am I insane?

Yes it's right. Jake did say it in an interview. It has been going around for about a month now. He said him being gay wasn't a secret he just preferred to keep his private life private, and hoped the public would be able to respect that. As far as I know the press haven't been taking pictures of the two of them together, or stalking his house yet, so I'm hoping for now they have taken his need for privacy on board. I hope it doesn't end up like the Chris Parker thing, he tried to commit suicide because of the press hounding him.
I'm glad he can be open about his relationship, and that the cast on Eastenders and the general public respect him for who he is. Some people can be quite childish about things like this. I think he's fitting in to Eastenders nicely, I like the character and I hope to see better storylines with him in the future.

I didn't like the storyline with Johnny and Andy, that Danny somehow got involved with. I didn't really understand how he got into that mess, putting him in the story seemed rather forced (if that makes sense). Even to this day, I don't even see why we are even concerned about Danny being there, he didn't do anything really.
I don't feel that Danny has really esablished himself in the soap yet, nothing has made me go wow! He seems to be a character with quite a bit of potential, he makes me laugh sometimes, he's quite cute. I'm just waiting to see something great from him, I'm sure it will come soon.

on the beeb board i posted in outrage about the newspaper article earlier this week some mole from eastenders was saying how they were all up for making danny the rival to corrie's charlie, but since he came out and stuff the beeb were gunna have to shift that kinda role onto the guy who plays jake.
So what? He's not that good at acting, I sussed him from the start! I don't care if he's gay I just want to see how the producers are going to sort out his PSYCHO ways; he really needs to cool down before someone makes him a pair of concrete boots!!! :eek:
