EMMERDALE stars wept real tears filming the screen funeral of Seth Armstrong.

The emotion paid tribute to actor Stan Richards, who played the lovable rogue for 27 years who but died in February, aged 74.

An insider at the ITV1 soap said of the episode: "The scenes were really touching and real tears flowed as we filmed them."

Characters returning for Seth's funeral are Kathy Glover (played by Malandra Burrows), Betty Eagleton (Paula Tilbrook) and Biff Fowler (Stuart Wade).

Actress Paula said: of Stan: "I worked with him for 11 years and will never forget the laughter."

ye the funeral will be real in someways as the actor has gone so it could be his second funeral. rip
